Overall
I recommend if you have seen both seasons of the live-action and enjoyed them and now is craving a side story.

Story
The story was okay as a side story. It was nice that the storyline was teased in the second season, but overall it was left in a completely blank slate and you don't have to watch it moving forward. The twist that it had was enjoyable to me and I actually did not see it coming

Characters/Acting/Cast
Fukuhara Haruka as Arukibi Jueri was a great addition as the main character of the movie. I liked her character and her twist at the end was not expected from me.

Hamabe Minami as Jabami Yumiko continues to be amazing. I liked her even showing her annoyance with Suzui at times in the movie. Continued to be great.

Takasugi Mahiro as Suzui Ryota was a good actor but the character was a big disappointment. In the first two seasons, I had enjoyed him but in this movie, he was just not good. From the part where he tries to go behind Yumiko's back to get cards instead of trusting her and then not getting that Yumiko was not wanting to win anymore and tried celebrating with her were annoying. When he did let Yumiko know that he could not go along with her and lose was actually good though, as that's how someone that is normal would react.

Music
The OP was better in the first season but the ending songs were still great.

Story:
Honestly, this show really has some ups and downs in the story department. I think that this storyline would have done with only about 30 episodes. The weird part is that the first ten episodes felt like they were meant to be episodes towards the middle of the show because they felt like they assumed that you cared for the characters without even knowing them. The best parts were the Gaisoulg arc when Naga showed up in the show and the final arc with Eras. They were really episodes where I wanted to continue watching.

Characters:
The characters were very generic Toku characters. One note and hardly ever showed a different side of them. Most did not have real progression and were, for the most part, the same from beginning to end.

Acting/Cast:
The cast, in general, was good. I think there is not really much to complain about. However, Osaki Ichika really is a great actress. In the end, she really showed her great acting when feeling emotional and I have to applaud that. Ichinose Hayate also had a couple of episodes where he showed how good he was at acting.

Music:
The theme song, in my opinion, was actually really good. The closing dancing song, however, was really annoying. There was one episode in which I thought it was good, however. The one where they show that this is actually a video from Ui.

So I started watching this a day after finishing the Korean Version and it was a painful experience. I went in expecting this to be a lot more different and wanted to see those differences but never did. Since I had already have fallen in love with the Korean actors and visuals everything of this remake seemed bad in the beginning. Not wanting to continue being negative to the show, I dropped after 3 episodes and watched something completely different for about a week and decided to try to binge it once more. To my surprise, since I already knew what to expect of it, I started to really connect with the cast and the visuals and now I would say it is on par with the Korean one.

I basically knew nothing when I started watching.

Overall, I really liked this movie. It was long but it kept me watching attentively.

The story was pretty fun one to watch. I how we start the movie in the middle of decisive action and then go back in a flashback to explain how we got to that bloody point. Throughout the whole movie, we get a couple of flashbacks that help explain the current movement in the story and I really liked them. All though, I don't know if it was due to the lack of knowing Japanese, but I was actually confused as to which character the young girls were supposed to be in the flashback at first.

The acting was good. It was the first time I saw anything with the actress playing the main leads and I enjoyed their portrayals.

Musc was good. I liked that they had many English tracks. Might have to do with it being made with Netflix so they wanted songs that would be understood in a wide range of places.

I would rewatch it if I have time to spare.

Since I am not part of the LGBTQ+ community, I will not say anything about this element of the movie. There are other people that are part of the community that can judge it on how accurate/relatable it is in this aspect and I will take their word on it.

Much better then its prequel partner.

Overall, I liked this spinoff.

It tried to give us fan service but somehow they made the story the appeal to watching this. The first two episodes were good at setting up the story (which is explained in the prequel as to how we get there) and then adding tension. After that, the third episode introduces the fan service (which looks worst than some fan-made concepts) and then does a major thing with a character loved by many. I was not expecting them to do that. Also, very gruesome scenes all throughout; very different from the show.

This is actually something that I would rewatch as part of a Zi-O rewatch. I feel that the way it ties up with the post-Zi-O ending movies is really good.

Can compare to the Anime for sure.

Overall
I think that this movie is just as great as the anime. It's one of the few where I think I personally prefer the Live-Action over the anime but they are both great.

Story:
The Story is overall the same as the one in the anime, but personally, I believe that most of the changes, which were mostly pretty small, were to get ride of nitpicks and inconsistencies that the story might have had in the anime. There were some small changes that I didn't like too but that's okay, it can't all be perfect.

Acting.
Personally, I had not seen any of the main cast in anything else except for Ishii Anna in YLIA, which I liked her in. After seeing them all, I have to say that they were pretty good in the movie and hope to see them in other things because I liked them all.

Japan, we love you and your crazy ideas!

My biggest complement for this movie is the comedy. This movie was just hilarious. I literally stayed laughing for the whole movie. With that said, this movie cannot be analyzed in a sense of matter like other movies. To put it simply, if it made you laugh, it was good. The only way to rate it is based on how much you laugh. Being a parody, the plot and characters are made to be extremes.
Also, The action was pretty good and funny. That's where a lot of the comedy came from.
And all those OG Spider-Man scenes were the cherry on top

My biggest problem with the movie was the two main leads. Their Characters and acting I am having a hard time judging. The two main leads felt a bit flat to me but I don't know if it has to do with the rest of the character being so over the top or it was their acting itself. Still cant decied.

I also believe that during the middle montage, the movie was a bit staler. I had fewer laughs during the part of the movie and it took a bit to get it back to high levels again.

Loved It

As a person who likes dark gloomy worlds, I really enjoyed this movie. I had just finished watching the 04 cutie honey when i watched this and they are literally like night and day.

My biggest complaint (which is more like a nitpick) is all the cuts during the action. I can see it was done to hide the fact that the actors and actresses are not martial artists, so I can let it slide. However, when the stunt actors took over, it was beautiful action.

The story was excellently paced. Never did I feel like asking why any character just magically changed opinions to service the plot. It was well planned and thought out.

The actors and actresses were great. I had never seen any of the main cast but I fell in love with Nishiuchi Mariya's acting.

Now, I need more of this Cutie Honey and I don't think I'll get it.

Funny Toku Movie

There were problems with the story that could have been fixed. For example, the whole uncle thing was rushed. We see her care so much for a random guy that honestly, I didn't know if he was good or bad until the end. I guess it might have to do with the fact that I know nothing about Cutie Honey prior to watching this. However, this movie was just a fun watch. It was great to see how the personalities of Honey and Aki interacted. And the CGI was bad, but it fits this kind of movie. It owned how bad it was and just made it more enjoyable.

Now, I'm off to watch the newer Cutie Honey movie/show.

Is it better than the anime? No, BUT it doesn't have to be to be Good

Before watching this I had seen season 1 of the anime and read the first volume of the manga, and to me, this story is literally one of my favorites. I liked the anime so much that it made me buy/read my very first manga. So the minute I saw that it had a live-action movie, I had to give it a try. After watching it, I can say that it is not as good as the anime, BUT by no means is it bad. I would say that, if you don't want to watch the 6 hrs of the first season of the anime, this is a great way to get the story in 2 hrs.

This movie covers the overall story of season 1 (anime) in the first hr of its runtime and what I can assume is season 2 in the second hr. To achieve this, many of the individual sections had to be dropped. Honestly, I am fine with that. I will say I am surprised at how the writers were able to combine so many of the sections to flow one after another so well, considering how the manga/anime treats each battle individually. This, however, makes the movie feel rushed in some parts and creates the biggest problem I have with this movie: the little use they gave the narrator. He only appears a few times in the movie. I needed more of that "_________ wins" sections he did in the manga/anime. Personally, I feel that is an essential part of Love is War and shouldn't have been taken away.

Another change the movie did that I didn't mind as much was adding Ishigami Yu from the very beginning of the movie. I think that to anyone that isn't familiar with the source, it would seem natural.

The second half of the movie felt a lot better because it was all new to me, having only seen season 1 of the anime. I was really interested in what they were going to do with the rest of the movie once I noticed they were going to go past the story of season 1.

The actors were great in their parts. The two main leads made the characters theirs and did a great job. Their voices were both very different from the animes but that isn't a problem to me. Asakawa Nana was a different situation. I have seen her in many other works and I know she is an amazing actress, which she was in this movie as well, but her voice threw me off. Personally, I would have rather had her use her natural voice.

Edit: I have now seen season 2, and I now know that the second half of the movie is technically an original plot that follows the student body president elections (Season 2 of the anime also focuses on the elections but adapts the storyline of the manga). This does get me curious as to what the sequel to the live-action plot will be? Is it going to be a more original plot? Follow that the anime will adapt for season 3? Only time will tell.

Skippable? I think so.

Overall, this is completely skippable, in my opinion, and is not needed to watch its sequel, which is better.

This story is not needed to watch and understand the sequel spinoff and since they aired at the same time, once you realized that they connect this feels so useless. Regardless the first two episodes were interesting. However, the third one was just having, in my opinion, really dumb plot points. They felt so out of the blue and it contrasted to the gruesome shots that had just played minutes before.

Definitely not something that is worth a rewatch. If you watch it, take what you need for the Zi-O vs Decade, and don't revisit this.

Very much an anime come to life.

I recommend if you tend to like these stories where both leads are in love but they want to see who gives in first.

Story
I say that I like this story. I personally believe that last two episodes are better then the first, but its all enjoyable. The characters are over the top and feel very anime-like. It honestly feels the most like an anime come to life. I liked how the story wasn't wrapped up and gave them the ability to have a movie (which doesn't seem to be subbed *sob*).

Cast/Acting
I have seen all 5 main actors in previously in either Kamen Rider and Sentai roles, so it was nice to see them again. I really liked them and many had improved their acting skill from their previous toku roles (Asakawa Nana is the only one to have a sentai role after this drama instead of before). Ogino Karin is great in these over the top comedies, Yano Yuuka had a role where she is the normal one again, Fujita Tom's role here is very different from his role in Amazons as well as Nishime Shun. But in my opinion, the best one of them all is Asakawa Nana. She was great and portraying her oddball emotions.

Really Good

This is my first time watching anything Godzilla and I really enjoyed it. I have seen modern tokusatsu but this is also a first for anything pre-2000. I recommend this to anyone as it has a great story and a really somber tone

Story
This was a very enjoyable story plot. It is very appropriate for the time it came out, only 9 years after the end of WWII. It might be a slow burn but it is sure to have an impact.

Acting
I really enjoyed the acting for the leads. It wasn't as good as acting in modern-day shows but I think acting was different at that period of time so it okay.

Music
The soundtrack of this movie was really well put. It added an appropriate tone to the sense and made everything feel the importance and grandeur of the moment.

Rewatch
I can say that I would probably rewatch this at some point, especially since I plan to watch some more movies from Godzilla and I might need a refresh of the one that started it all.

What a villian plotline.

Overall, it is one of the best Super Sentai shows I have seen. It has a good balance of humor but knows how to be serious when it was to be. I recommend it to anyone that likes Sentai or tokusatsu.

Storyline:
I loved all the twists and turns that the villains had. Best villain plot ever. The rangers also had a good plot but it is not as great as the Villians. That is the true reason to watch this show.

Acting/Cast
The cast was good. For most of them, it was their first acting role and it can be noticed but you could see that they were good. I loved seeing Yokohama Ryusei because you can see him give the emotions at the end of the show and he would go on to be in many other great shows and movies.

Music
The opening and ending were great. I never skipped either when watching all 47 episodes.

Rewatch value
I can see people rewatching this show. The plot is good enough to watch again. Maybe you would skip the filler in a rewatch since sentai tends to have lots of those.

Not your Disney's Mulan. It's better!

After watching Disney's live-action version and the Chinese 2020 version, I have to say that this is the very best. It was very different from Disney's versions and, although it has more in common with it, it is better than the 2020 version I watched. This is the superior Mulan movie and the one I would recommend to anyone watching.

Story
I really liked how in this story, Mulan actually has someone from her village in the army and he knows she is a woman and decides to help her, and then a higher ranking officer discovers her and since they had become friends, also helps her hid her identity. This is much more believable than her actually never getting caught by anyone.

Then I loved the plot twist at the end. I actually did not see that coming at all and was genuinely surprised. Looking back can understand why the simple line, that was brought back at the end and resulted in the bittersweet ending, was said based on the person's actual identity. That was great!

Acting
This is the second Chinese film that I see and I thought the acting was fantastic. Vicki Zhao is a spectacular actress. She was so good at showing emotions and being hard and stern and also breaking apart in her role. I loved seeing her and she is literally the best and the one true Mulan in my mind from now on. I loved her range. Aloys Chen was also amazing in his role. You can tell they put a lot of work into their roles. The Supporting cast also was great and overall the whole cast was well picked. I would like to see more films the leads and see them act in different situations.

Rewatch Value
This is the one movie where I feel like I want to rewatch it soon. It was great and the best Mulan movie I have seen to date and I will certainly give this a rewatch.
