I really liked the mother. I sorta expected her to be kinda evil but she seemed reasonable, caring about her children. Ofc she's part of the corrupt system too but she still seemed nice. Not the type to use it to her advantage necessarily, but sort of just exist in it
I was sure Sean knew White's identity but I guess not. And Black did you really have to beat him up that badly. I felt so bad hearing the confusion/hurt/pleading in Sean's voice
If you're curious how wildly different the novel is from the series, check out this thread:https://twitter.com/4EverAngelsFly/status/1474086306795950085
I don't think Tod works for Tawi but there is some sort of connection, not necessarily a good one. Because if Tod was on Tawi's side he could've destroyed Black's gang a long time ago (because then it would stop the attack on Tawi). And with White too, Tod knew that the gang was planning on burning the building but Tawi did not prevent it or ambush them so I'm guessing Tod never reported it to the guy. But he definitely needs intel about the gang and what they're doing to Tawi so.... why? I would LOVE to know why Tod beat up Black and how he feels about the twins. If Tod hated Black, he could've just left him for dead or murder the guy in the hospital. He kinda seems affectionate towards both brothers and idk if it's just his character's aloofness or there's something happening on his side of the story we don't know yet.
What are your theories as to why Sean took the button from White’s shirt? How would use that to tell the twins…
I honestly can't imagine how it would help in identifying them. Unless Sean literally went up to Black and asked so do you know why your button is missing. But I'm also really curious abt this since Sean must've had a reason
