At one time in Chinese history the Eunuchs were in power. Weak, lazy Emperors made it so. That's why they depict this in historical dramas. Eunuch wars in history. Different factions and they went to war. Eventually a strong Emperor got in power and took the power away from them. I don't remember which era it was you can look it up. Always be wary of the Eunuchs. In the end Eunuchs were outlawed in the early 1900s. Peace♥
