I think it's the viewers core beliefs that will depend on how they take the ending of this drama. If you believe in reincarnation, heaven, happy hunting grounds, life after death, etcetera, this is a happy joyful ending. If you are afraid of death this is not for you. Chu Yu was lead to the field by soldiers if you noticed. To me it meant she died in battle. Yes she lived longer but always wanted to be a warrior.

I see it as they all died and were together in heaven doing their thing with their comrades. Even Ning and Ruyi. The child came out to take ChuYu to meet them in heaven. They all loved, laughed and were loyal to each other till the end.

After watching 33-34 I am satisfied. They can end it there. Happy ending. The rest is only chaos.♥
