Noble Aspirations (2016) is the series this movie is based on. It confusing as they assume those who watch the movie will understand the different elements like the dragon. When the two brothers were rescued and were taken to the sect the guardian dragon was activated by the ML and I guess they formed a type of friendship. Everyone was alarmed that the dragon activated. << this is from the series. I don't like when they don't explain and don't think of people watching who may not know the back story. Hope this helps. I know this is late but this movie is associated with Noble Aspirations (2016) series. I knew I'd seen that dragon somewhere before. I figured it out. The same story but more filled out in the series. It might fill in some of your questions. Peace♥

I really enjoyed this drama. Yes there is a love triangle, a woman can love more than one man for different reasons, the journey was amazing. I thought the ending was kinda sad. Going off into the desert alone. Well acted and story is engaging. Peace♥

Not experiencing this on IQIY. Must be how they captured it for off venue viewing. They don't have the best quality all the time.
