She has development right at the beginning. She takes an interest in womanly things. Think about it, she was was brought up by a young boy from a baby. << which is amazing. This is how he treats her being deprived himself of parental love and guidance. He also keeps her at arms length by his treatment of her not wanting to take advantage of her being a woman. He is very protective of her and he allows her to grow with the best intentions but lacking any role models himself. Peace♥

For all the Wuxia fans this is a must watch. I am re-watching this again and again am totally impressed with this drama. Well thought out and coherent script. The actors nail it. Exciting, funny and tragic. Good verses Evil and Evil verses Good. Pious people who think they are good but they are not. Best of the best. Peace♥

ML knowing she was a princess was a long process. Her master intimated she had a special identity and at the border she disappeared he had her followed. Later when a messenger came and bowed to her and called her HRH he knew. (He was watching and over heard) His spys confirmed it and she finally told him. ML's brother, after the fiasco with the fiance, was granted by his father to leave and live outside of palace, which he did. He was trying to protect ML by denying him support. << evil queen was trying to use him. In the end he came to help him gain the throne. yu wuyuan << only got part of the special ability. It was meant to be used as a couple therefore they were stronger because they worked together. Even the old man who gave them the ability said he could never reach the highest level as his wife died too soon. Hope this clears up some of your questions. Peace♥
