Lucky for XZ to get on CCTV good for his exposure and good for their ratings. However I do feel he gets taken advantage of with some of the productions. (Joy of Life.) In some of his fan's eyes he can do no wrong. I like him as an actor but some of his script choices leave me wondering who he is trying to please. Peace♥

This is a very sensitive topic in this series. My hope for those who are Mothers and daughters they can talk about it at home openly. The taking away of innocence. So many young girls are protected and don't know the ways of the world. They venture out and sometimes they get taken advantage of because of their innocence << the very thing that makes them special. Overly trusting. I wish there was a way to make every young girl aware before anything happens. Trust your gut and what your feelings say about the opposite sex. << If it doesn't feel right, don't do it. In the end life still goes on. Peace♥

I'm sure we will find out about the baby in later episodes. I do think her not stepping forward was because she knew the ways of the world. Her father would have beaten her and her mother would have disowned her. << you saw what happened to her friend and how she was haragued. She did try to help by talking to people but Ru Lan pushed her away at every turn. Hopefully she can clear Ru Lan's name and get revenge from the high and mighty who prey on young women. Peace♥

I must say this is the first drama I have been able to complete with FL. (voice issues totally on me.) She has impressed me in this drama. I liked how they wrapped up the loose ends. Yes there were a few not taken into consideration but all in all it was done well. The ending , I think, is sad. FL gets tricked back into her previous life and new handlers. I can only hope she manages to find her way out for both her and her twin sister. Sad to see ML pining for her. Peace ♥

They were poisoned. It's a who done it? All I can say is two people were surprised Gong Ziyu got the head position. Gong Shang Jue and Shangguan Qian. The brother was deliberately sent away. It's a set-up from inside. Don't know who yet. Watch and see.♥

I was worried about her voice so now will watch this for sure. No offence to FL but her voice gets me and I end up dropping the whole shows cause of this. (It's my problem, I recognize that.) Elocution lessons any one? Peace ♥

Two things about this series. 1. It's 58 episodes << new rule in China must be only 40 episodes. So they either have to cut it down to 40 or have 2 seasons and it can't run second season close to first season. 2. If any of the actors, producers, directors get into trouble that will sink the whole production. I've removed from my plan to watch for these reasons. Too bad, hopefully it will be able to move forward but not holding my breath. Peace♥

I'm rewatching this. I am enjoying it again. Compared to some newer wuxia/fantasy this is not too bad. The story has many twists and turns. The acting is good, of course room for impovement, but doesn't take away from the story too much. I love the opening music in this one. It's a fun romp. Romance is touch and go. <<(It's a class thing noble or not.) The story centers around the ML and his friends. Mostly ML. I think it's worth watching. Don't compare it to later dramas as it was made in 2018 era which is 5 yrs ago now. Again I think it's well worth the watch. Peace♥
