It's amazing to watch how even with the censorship, some series are very "open" to the relationship between the main characters... even if it's not said out loud, you can see the characters share a more profound bond and that their feelings aren't just friendly towards each other! also, there would be no problem if it's just friendship, don't take me wrong, I appreciate a great bromance!! right now I'm talking about series that are censored version of a BL novel! Idk if you're watching Word Of Honor, but this one is amazing! the flirtation is on point! it makes me believe that in the future this type of series will be more forward even with the censorship on their backs and I'm here for it hahaha
Song Wei Long is definitely not "unremarkable" in looks and nobody can deny it... his beauty is definitely remarkable! hahaha also, he's so talented! I'm really anxious for this drama even if it's censored... I'm glad China is at least 'adapting' BL novels to dramas... I hope soon the government will go easy on productions and let a real BL come out.. it would be amazing, even more so when China has so many great BL novels!
My first K-Drama was My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, and I watched it back in 2014! I didn't have any tips btw, I literally randomly chose it hahaha and now I've watched so many others! (Including Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai)
Only one episode in and I already feel like this is going to be bad. None of the characters had any apeal whatsoever.
At the same time, there's plenty of series that I watched that started like that, confusing and stuff, but turned out a great series later on.... I hope the same happens with this one!
This series has so many different studios and people working for it (P'New directing, Studio Wabi Sabi, Tecent Video, WeTV, GMMTV), I hope this collab will work out so that other series can follow the example!
