so basically, it's 80% business/work and 20% romance. it's just how i analyzed the whole show sorry. i liked it tho but not much. Lu Tian Yi is my saving grace for sure. I just find it hard at times to grasp their conversations, esp those with business topics(w/c mostly covers the drama). at times i really understood esp that I'm in a business major also, but in the next minutes i get confused, is ot just the eng subs or they are really messing with the business aspect of this drama? u know what i mean. They throw so much business jargons that i know most of the audiences wouldn't easily get and then the whole sense of the drama will be nonsense. Every time i get confused with their conversations, i come to think that the script was all over the place.
aside from those mentioned above i think the characters were too shallow? There were holes, and conflicts that isn't solved. There were also unnecessary scenes. Why angela isn't revealed as a traitor? The ending is just blurry. But I'm happy the leads end up together.

I'm halfway through the drama. I like it, but I realized I'm watching this very slow and can't find the eagerness to continue some episodes. Nonetheless i will not drop this (tho i was planning to), i have to thank Luo Tian Yi bcs he saved the drama for me. He's just... his eyes and the way he look at chu chu got me. uggghhhh. it's when the camera focus on his face while looking at chu chu that i feel the romance in here. I don't like the FL, but I don't hate her either. And the I just feel uneasy while watching the second lead, yue cheng and xiaoyu. idk why. And Luo Tian Yi's assistant is so funny, he likes failing. that's weird hahahha. I also find it hard to keep up with the business issues in here
I'll continue watching. And try to appreciate that drama more.

to those who dropped this after ep11 i swear, y'all missing so much more beautiful scenes after it. waaaah!!! and I'm in for season 2. Can't get enough of Mumu x Yizhou chemistry ohmyyyyyyy

IGUYS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO WATCH THIS DO NOT HESITATE, TRY IT. I don't know why so many people do not like this drama. If you are too critical and too cynic of a person, You shouldn't watch too much dramas. if these dramas affect your principles in life, then might as well drop this. I know it touches a very sensitive topic and seriously that thing is really disturbing. But i must advice, be ready with dramas like this. I can't say this is really very good, because personally i do have my favorites too. But i cannot deny how this drama differs to the ones i am used to watching; some fluffy, feel good dramas that won't stress you out, some that gives you a right dose of romance and sweetness. I want to give this drama a justice. Inspite of having a really wierd plot, i liked it too because it doesn't follow the trend of a typical idol drama. It depicts a very unusual kind of character, which is in the embodiment of Ling Yi Zhou. OK I KNOW, HE IS CREEPY AND AS YOU SAY 'PSYCHO'. But have you ever considered his past? Being into too much dramas for the past 10 years of my life, i become very understanding of each characters that i watch in dramas, I try to analyze their actions and it's reasons. While watching their actions, i take into account these characters' personality, their background. I cannot blame you for naming him as a psycho, but have it ever occurred to you it's his way of expressing his love? Maybe what happened to his past, his mother leaving him, that is what triggers him to become this obsessive or possessive. He's afraid that this one person (Xia Lin) that he truly cherish the most might leave him again just like his mom. That being said he took the risk and do things that he thought was right. Cause I have said, he lacked motherly love, or plainly the feeling of being loved and reciprocating it to someone (in the general sense). If you payed attention to this drama more, maybe you should have think that this is just a drama. although being fictional, maybe this thing really happens around the world and you just doesn't have an idea about it. I'm not saying stalking, being obsessive, drugging and such are good things. but wtf, seriously? THIS IS A DRAMA, NOT A DOCUMENTARY OR A REALITY SHOW. IF YOU SIGNED UP FOR A LOVEY-DOVEY, LIGHT-HEARTED, FLUFFY, SWEETNESS OVERLOAD DRAMA THAT WILL NOT STRESS YOU OUT YOU WOULD WANT TO PUKE. THEN LADIES AND GENTLEMAN THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.
I like Yi Zhou and Xia Lin sweet scenes the most. I liked how Yo Zhou love Xia Lin (putting possessivenes and obsession aside) that he made those things for her. I like how Xia Lin still strives to achieve her dreams, being an independent girl and how she doesn't take the opportunity of being with Yi zhou to be more famous. This kind of drama is so rare that really gets you into a roller coaster ride, especially in Chinese dramas where plots were just the same as others. I liked how they made Yi Zhou's character that differs him to other male lead CEO's in other dramas. They put something real in his personality, not a copy cat from other dramas.
The supporting characters also gave justice to their roles, i liked how mysterious Wen Li is, and how he handles Feifei. Feifei being a good friend and spicing up Wen Li's character. I think the antagonists are good enough to make things worse for the leads. Many cdramas don't have evil people like what this drama has, and there's also scenes that has gun, drugging, hypnotizing. A very unusual thing for modern c dramas that i have watched as of today. it is tagged as MELODRAMA, HELLO????! wtf are y'all syin'?
The OST was okay, songs that were played were very suitable for each scenes.
I don't want to elaborate the things that i don't like more. cause you can clearly see many of it in this comment section. I'd just like to give another point of view for the drama. Honestly. while I was watching and was enlightened about it's twists and turns, really said to myself. "This drama should have a 'fucked-up' tag". But again i will say I REALLY APPRECIATED THIS AND IT IS FINE TO WATCH THIS. If you want to watch this and see the comments and especially THE REVIEWS ahead, do not mind what other people say. Let YOU be the one who will judge the drama. But if you really do not want to, drop and find what suits your style. As simple as that.
Jerry Yan is my First Love for real. He snatch my little girl heart after watching Meteor Garden in 2005. when he cameo-d in our times, I literally cried so much. I'm so excited t this!!!
I'm on episode 14 now, I am contemplating whether to drop this or have faith with the growing relationship between the leads and continue watching!!! How come ML and FL scenes doesn't have effect on me? I want to know how all of you finished this show?
I LOVE THIS DRAMA SO MUCH. EVRYTHING, FROM THE STORY TO THE CHARACTERS TO THE OST'S. love their bond, wish i had the same relationship with people who surrounds me. It makes me realize so many things , such as when the future comes and then looked back to my past, will e satisfied? will i regret what done?
