It’s good but I went in with no expectations. It’s the kind of drama where it’s best to go in blind.

I had it on hold for years and currently working through it. I’m absolutely not invested in the main romance, I feel absolutely no chemistry between them. When they went to the market my bf said “Oh it’s nice she took her son out shopping” and that’s exactly what it felt like to me. We both agree that if the story focused on Hui-jae solving the murder mystery it would be much more interesting. He’s a complex, interesting character.

His address is listed as an area in Yongsan in Seoul. So his place in Cheongju is a temporary residence.

You can skip through the first half of the first season, and most of the 2nd half of the 2nd season. But certain big events are probably going to matter.

You definitely should. But most of the end of season 2 is irrelevant. For season 2 it’s episodes 2-7, 14, 16. Those give you a pretty good background of his past.

It was really distracting. They also look nothing alike. There are several actors who look much more similar.

I agree with you completely. I would’ve really liked S1 if they took out the romance or at least didn’t make it so central. I didn’t feel the chemistry some people claimed was there. He was in love with her because she’d had a previous life where he loved her. That’s such a boring cheat for creating a romance.

Time slip Dr Jin is a hot mess but fun.

It’s not just me? I’ve seen so many people praising the character and actor but I don’t like either.

I don’t get why people are saying it’s boring. Maybe if you’d already seen the original which I haven’t. For me, I don’t need constant action or romance in a drama, I was having fun trying to figure out which move both sides were going to do next. And there was enough action and some funny scenes to spice it up.

A lot of viewers, I’m guessing young people, want a strong, tall, kpop looking male protagonist who simps hard for the average female lead, but heaven forbid they do anything more than a tiny, chaste kiss right before the end. A lot of very popular dramas are that formula.

Episodes 1-3 weren’t amazing but I got hooked after that.
