I do agree. But after this latest episode my focus is starting to shift at the fact that BD is unhinged herself! And of course her mother isn't making it any better, but BD is unhinged.
This is certainly not a good vs. evil, right vs. wrong kind of drama. Are the actions of the main characters wrong...yes...but can we see the events that led up to these actions...yes. When I found myself rooting for NC and ES I had to take a step back realizing that the actions weren't right, but their love is so innocent and their stories are relatable to some degree of their backgrounds and even present.
EK her character progression from a pushover to this seductress is riveting in itself. Imagine being spit on by your man, looked down upon by your bestie and her mother yet continue to smile in each others faces, talked about badly by her bestie and and her ex. Does her situations justify her actions...no. But can we see how she got there...yes.
And the mothers of this show...WHEW!! A handful is an understatement. They all need to go to Shady Pines Nursing Home.
Also the cheating gives me love ft marriage and divorce vibes. Thats all.
We're back for S3! The new casting...it works so far except for the step-mother, but one scene made me rethink that she may be just right for the chaotic journey. Soooo....are we going to go back to those 3 marriages of season 2 or no?? Completely different storylines? *no spoiler tag necessary*
I just want her and Director Ji to be together. She has been friend zoned multiple times by the same man, yet they make them consistently pursue one another? It feels forced at some moments. He even told her father "nope shes only a friend". You all are really stretching the "nice guys finish last" scenario all for the Director to not wind up with her. And their chemistry is undeniable, like they just work. But i know that's not how the story will go....

He had something terrible happen to him as well (the "hand"). So right now theyre just working through the surface stuff, he's chipping away at her hard exterior, but she is doing the same to him. Sure he seems very sweet, blah blah, but he has some demons to be worked out. I think he is constantly invovled with everything and everyone to keep his mind off of what has happened to him.
I just feel like NJN should still have winded up with LHG. I started becoming invested in their relationship, because that last turn around and smile at one another was like "we're no longer the high schoolers in love, but now adults with these same feelings" come on!! Please say I was not the only one who felt that chemistry. It's a lot stronger. Yes they were young, but learn the grown up version of each other.
Anywho...I love Park Bo Young, how could anyone not. She's so adorable. She could be 78 years young and still be adorable! This drama really took us through all the emotions available though lol.
I love JDT! The most determined villain i have ever witnessed! Even Cheon Seo Jin can't touch how evil this man is. Now granted she can play the hell out of being "psychotic" but JDT not once played the crazy role, yet was placed in a facility for it. But throughout it all he has always been ruthless, relentless, professionally reckless. You just do NOT cross this man, even if you're his child....so what! Cheon Seo Jin will still save her child. JDT is the ultimate villain and i love it! How can you be so determined that even in hell you STILL blow sh*t up 😂😂😂 (no spoiler tag needed).

The brother had something taken away from him and wanted it back. But honestly he wants what he no longer has. This is a man used to getting what he wants. And told her straight up he did pity her.
I KNEW THOSE TWO WOULD BE TOGETHERRRR!!! Engineer and Old Preggers!! I called it weeks ago! Thats a logical pair! Honestly the lawyer and A-Mi are logical too. Both are nuts, young, she can have all his little babies. And notice WHERE IS THE BABY??? Did anyone see it???

Its just the mere idea of SPY being interested in another man, being around their daughter "Ji-A cant be raised by a stepdad" OHHHH but she can be raised by the two nut cases in your home A-Mi and the stepmother??? Lets say that they let them stay together, SPY will make sure he feels that pain that she felt before truly forgiving him and taking him back. Also, like she said about that vase, or something that she broke and she fixed it back but there were still cracks...she may not ever be able to trust him 100% if she takes him back, but theres only 3 episodes left, so we will have to see.

Exactly! Her behavior exhibits that of mania! Yes i see the manipulation but just like you said her self destructive behavior should have let us known right there that there is something else going on with her. The doctor himself said to give her time because her mental state is NOT there.
So, unfortunately, Ga Bin may just get a happy ending if things play out like I said they woukd weeks back, that if Mr Handsome cane walking back into her life that she would drop the professor...HOWEVER if you all recall Ga Bin did tell the professor she was just kind of using him to get over her heart break with the younger brother. Its clear theyve broken up though.

We needed todays episode. For some if you it may seem "boring" but it was necessary. This man tries to use every analogy and psychological metaphors just to make SPY redirect her thinking. And im glad she called him out on it. The professor and the doctor both use that mechanism to explain & justify why their ways should make sense...the trees, the mountains, the wind blows, flowers blossom then wither...SHUT THE HECK UP! And the pure audacity to flip the narrative onto my baby "oh well your mom got played too and you resented her so how dare you judge my affair" and thats why he got the smacky smack! It took ubtil the final 10 minutes to finally see this man show true emotions and understanding?!?! "Oh you know what, my bad, i get it now youre like upset and hurt right? Ohhh!
