In my opinion, nothing that promotes communism should get good ratings or popularity. It doesn't matter who's involved, where or if it's fictional. It is historically proven a flawed regime that should not have any propaganda, only used as teaching material. Feel free to disagree but as much as you love the cast, the low ratings are fair and justifiable.

The drama is about oh soo jae vs president choi tae gook, the whole plot is theirs. All other characters are support with smaller plots to fill the 16 eps. The catch is that they cast 2 idols as "main" characters just to increase popularity and the final eps made that obvious. Choi tae gook's eldest son and his two friends are more relevant than Gong Chan and Yoon Sang. If we had this in mind when we started watching it, maybe, it would be less disappointing.
