Changing an ending depends on a lot of factors, the part is the screenwriter, director, who actors are playing the lead roles, and the reception, the fact that HJP is getting a lot of attention is true but we don't know if all the attention is going for him or just a part of the viewers.

Yeah, that's what I think. Is everyone fault, HJP and Grandma started the lie and NDS keep it. They got chances to stop NDS and say the truth, but they chose to keep lying, and the same goes for NDS.

The problem is with most of the viewers, they are biased towards HJP, so everything he does is perfect and has a justification, the same goes for grandma, and NDS on the other hand they find only flaws in him, even if he does something nice, he is evil and manipulative.
While all characters have flaws, HJP is on a pedestal, grandma is untouchable and NDS no.

We have the time skip, the guy who wants revenge, the rivalry between sisters, the grandma plot, and the lying issue. and just 8 eps left.

Yes, it feels a little over cliche too, but I think it was for physical attraction more than love, so after reading the letter, he was like, "this is my chance". After all, while HJP keeps telling NDS that he doesn't like DM, he is giving a green light to NDS.
For me, only NDS is in love, but maybe after the time skip or the lie reveal, his character and their relation became more complex.
But I'm waiting for an ending like Dream high.

Yeah, if you get on Twitter, people hate NDS and NJH (which is totally out of line), until it gets ridiculous, they treat NDS like a super-criminal mind. From my perspective, HJP is a good character but he is the stereotype of ML himself, maybe I saw enough dramas with the same premise (rich/mean/sad past / they know it from childhood / not accepting their feelings), but it only new is because it is the SL.

Both characters have flaws, but they only take everything from one side, for example in the epilogue of chapter 7 and 8 for me it defined the future of each character, but everyone only talked about how cute HJP was trying to make NDS angry or how DM chose the boy from the letters.

At the current point who is wrong is NDS for lying, but I don't think he really is taking advantage of it, on the contrary, everything indicates that his life will fall apart.
With HJP they are being too permissive due to his past, but the boy has a problematic personality (he is somewhat egocentric).

I thought this drama would be about start-ups but ended been a battle between ships. And it doesn't have anything bad but a few days ago I read people on Twitter blaming the actors and in my opinion that's crossing the line, you can blame the writers, but the actors they're just trying their best.

At this point, I don't know how they gonna fix the story without ruining more NDS character or ruining completely HJP development. As far I remember this screenwriter always ruins the SL (so I'm preparing my feelings T.T).

I read some commentaries about the possibility of changing the story for the recent popularity of HJP, but it looks difficult because netizens have complained about the amount of screentime that the character has, for example, WIJ hardly appears and the viewers complained about it.

I hope this weekend they start to move the story because ep 8 was a total filler.

I don't think he will die, that would be too much, but maybe have a change or something but killing him, that would destroy everyone.
In my perspective, all characters need to grow and mature in a certain way. And how the screenwriter does the characters, maybe she wanted to do something fresh but didn't go that well.
About using NDS, I don't think so, this screenwriter always chooses the ML as the end game even in DH (but they didn't last).
In my opinion, everyone gonna depart in their ways in the next chapters, and then the time skip will come in.
About the romance, maybe is more about timing, HJP has been his worse enemy all this time, and NDS is more assertive. (excluding all the mess they have ongoing).
Yeah kinda, HJP has the traits of an ML but instead is the SML and his character is complex, I think this explains part of his popularity because no matter how good he is, drama land has a formula, and it looks like he is going to lose against the ML (who is more a common person like you and me), but we still have 8 eps left and everything can change. On the other hand, KSH is charming so, who can't love him?.
But this kind of mess between two ML have happened before on reply 1988 and school 2015 (with NJH too), as far I have seen on most recent dramas the second lead gets a ton of attention, for example, WDH on KTEM or JHI on WYWS (more people liked him, and Lee Jong Suk was the lead).


I don't know what to think at this point, I only want a happy ending no matter how it happens. T-T

This is the second time that this screenwriter does this, if you have watched dream high, is the same, the SML was the one with the back story, the one who was showed first, so yeah he was soo similar to HJP, and the ML on DH was the same as NDS, a nice guy who is not in the level of the SML but have a good heart, and of course, the ML stole a little bit the SML credit. Even the SML got the girl but about the end, the FL (Who was Susy too) choose the ML. Only I'm not so sure because, on DH, the one who shared a kiss first was the SML and the FL, and now is the FL and ML, and I know that are different stories, but it's impossible to don't make a comparison.
Based on this, I'm just waiting for everyone alone and single ending. And I get more on the idea after KSH, say that his character was going to have a twist, I can be the fact that he is falling in love, or maybe like many others SML of the stories of this screenwriter, is going to turn in to the dark side, but who knows, this time can be ML instead of SML who changes.

Yes, that's just too much, even on Twitter, Instagram, they're fighting, and is this keep like this is going to be a mess, I don't think they will change the ending of the story at all.
This fan war keeps me worrying because if you have watched other works from this screenwriter, she always has made the SML a disappointment towards the second half.
If this happens, the amount of hate against NDS and HJP would be insane and this could affect the actors too.

Yeah, in dream high, no one gets the girl that's why at least, I want a happy ending for them even if they don't end together.
On the other hand, here they are in their late 20s that could change everything, so I keep a small hope for a different ending.
