I agree. Chinese dramas are the winners of bad endings/sad endings. I just wrote in my comment that I didn't even know that there were just 35 ep in the original drama. I watched 36 ep online and there were nowhere standing that it's a special episode. That's why I thought that there are 36 episodes and they live happily ever after. But now I get it, that everything is not real. It makes me really sad. Now I understand that he jumped of the cliff to be with her.
I liked this drama very much. Sometimes it was really funny and sometimes I was so pissed off because of this stupid foreign princess, who wanted to take the general away. I just wanted to hit her in the face, so mad I was. The romantic and crying moments where so adorable and touching, I just loved it.
But sometimes I just want that they write (BAD ENDING-SAD ENDING-EVERYBODY DEAD) or something like that in the description. Because I don't really want to watch 30-50 ep where somebody dies at the end, or they don't end together. It's just so disappointing and a waste of time.

Nice, funny and light love story. I like the main leads, they look so good together and that they have feelings for each other in real life makes it more romantically. I am also waiting for the second season and hope that there will be more kissing scenes and that they will show more deeply feelings.
I really liked this drama just because of the FL strong personality and how she became stronger and confidently. Of course the second male lead (the bodyguard) was so hot and I just loved him. I was so disappointed how he ended. I hoped they would stay together. But the story was not about love, it was more about how to define yourself in your life.
Is it a happy ending? At what ep did they became together?
It's how you look at it. I think it's a happy ending for them, but not for everybody. Because some of their good friends die at the end and that I think was really not necessary. She realises her feeling for him in the 38 episode. But as a couple they became at the 41 episode. They are not really showing that they are together, but her behavior towards him is different.
Of course it's a shame, that there were no kissing scenes. But the story is interesting and pretty funny. I think the two main leads look perfect together. They have such a great chemistry.
I decided to watch this drama just because it was recommended after (Love me if you dare). And I really hoped that there would be more love and romantic scenes, but no, I was a little bit disappointed. When you just look at the story and the criminal theme, than you will like it, when you like crime series. The criminal cases were interesting and how the FL solved them was very entertaining. I agree that the chemistry between those two was nice, but I just missed the romantic.
Dramas like this are my favourite ones. There is everything what a good drama should have. Love story, interesting characters, psychological elements. Just perfect.
Such a beautiful love story. I like it how the male character showed his feelings for her. He couldn't hide them, and was just kissing her forcibly or grabbing her. That was awesome. And such a lovely song (Mo - Na Ying)
It's one of my favourite Taiwanese dramas. It has everything i like. Love story, sad moments, psychological elements. Not even a moment boring. I love it how the male character wants to protect her and how she changes because of his love to her. After so many years I am still listening to the opening song (Alan Kuo - Ling)
