Worth watching through the draggy start.
Although this felt a little draggy in parts as it moved forward, it grabs you and keeps you wanting to watch it. I started watching for Jung Il Woo and the FL but the rest of the cast were amazing at their portrayal of their characters that it kept me watching for the rest of the storylines for the other characters.definitely recommend watching this one. brilliant in every way.
The cast did an amazing job even in loving to hate the stepmom for all her evil actions and motivations. my only disappointment would be that there’s no real resolve regarding the step mum. a bit sad but I’ll get over it.

So Brilliant
This was brilliant….. Just loved the writer’s ability to tell the background story whilst in modern day times without too much tooling and froing. The actors also did brilliantly. Love love loved both Nana and Jang Dongyoon, they made me stay. Their chemistry is EVERYTHING, hoping for more projects of them together. They compliment each other really well!!. Side characters had such great character development as well. I cannot fault the director on this one. So so good, rewatch value a 10/10Was this review helpful to you?

Not on my rewatch list
OMG - watched this because I love the actors in it. Disappointed greatly at the way modern thinking presented in media today has turned our culture where a sacred union called marriage between 2 people has been turned into living however you like because “love doesn’t last”. What a farce!!!! Hate to break it to you people but Love is NOT A FEELING it’s an Active decision that we CHOOSE TO DO. Laying down our own selfish desires for that of the other person. This generation today need to wake up and realise how far we’ve come from the sacred union of loving each other for the other person’s sake into the complete and utter self-centred way if life today. The wonder why they’re never happy. You can’t be happy while living selfishly. Was this review helpful to you?

Disappointing writing
okay, so first up, I just want to say I was warned off watching this one. That being said, I still took it on because i love some of the actors/actresses in it. Inalsomhave to add that in the end, lthough i clicked that “I like this” on Netflix, I didn’t Love it.. It still let me down with the writing, the actors did an amazing job with what they had but the writer waits until the very last episode for the ML to discover the BOD that his gfriend has been on and only brings them back together in the last 5 minutes. Say What!!!Was this review helpful to you?
based on Real Life crime stories.
i enjoyed the stories, not because they were based on reality but becausenI love mystery and working out who dunnit. Have to admit, the first one had me puzzled but the 2nd one was an easy pick for me…. what police officer picks upma woman whomjustbran out of the bush and collapses. theyd call for an ambulance and assistance. The actors did well in portraying their parts, however, i’m not sure if it was the writing or the producing/directing that had me wondering if the ML Song Il Gook was just awkward or if it was something he had to do???!!!Otherwise enjoyable, it was draggy to begin with thus the reason it took me so long to finish

Endearing high school romance.
With a background of domestic abuse, there’s enough in this movie to bring it altogether quickly. I loved how the writer portrayed the innocence of the high school romance. without going too far into the abuse side but giving just enough of the background story at just the right time.in typical abuse fashion the wife goes back to deal with the husband and ends up far worse off than before..
sweetness in the romance though and in true self sacrificing that is true Love, she tries to let him go……..

Need persistence
Okay, I’m such a huge fan of Gong Yoo that I felt the need to watch this one. I do have mixed feelings on it though.. I went into this with the understanding that he was the male lead actor, although I felt like he was more of a support role in the story. Even though he had a major part to play, the actor who played Park Tae Young seemed more of the lead, that being said, I almost dropped it after the first 15 minutes in. It felt slow and unapologetic. Because it’s Gong Yoo, I persisted and am so glad that I did. The writer was so brilliant.. they keep you guessing right up to the end as to what will happen…. I do have to say that they’re also more forgiving than I wanted to be too….. ? I’m not going to say anymore and will leave you to find out for yourselves. ♥️♥️♥️Was this review helpful to you?
No romance here…..
Soooo good 😊 Love Park Min Young and Kim Myung Min. Both were brilliant right to the end.I also appreciated the fact there was no romance between them, although it was hinted at. This storyline had such a redemptive ending that you need to watch to appreciate.
The director and writer did such a great job with this piece. Thank you. ♥️

Amazing
I love both Jung Il Woo and Go Ah Ra. They were just as amazing in this drama as usual. Loved both his and her character development throughout. Feeling pity for his brothers, even Tan. This is a truly wonderful story…… I did struggle at times to get through the 48 episodes but it’s still deserving of the 9 stars rating…Was this review helpful to you?
Cutesy
I enjoyed this drama and all the characters in it. The side storyline, although short were definitely sweet. Not like other drama’s where they can often outshine the main characters. The M and FL were done well, although I’m a fan of both, he can definitely do with a different persona - he’s almost been typecast into the stiff upper lip type of character. This was fine for this drama but I’d love to see him in another style of character.A little disappointing was the ending.

So enticing - it will truly grab you.
This was such an amazing story. The writer is so good. To be able to draw you in continuously and then do it again is truly a talent.
The actors were amazing. Both ML and FL were brilliant. I love Park So Dam and Jang Hyuk. Have watched many drama’s with them separately. They never disappoint me.
To say I enjoyed the medical side is too little - the added mystery is a bonus. Then to put into this the tragedy of misinformation which then determines ones destiny is resounding. Life is to be lived and to love others - without it we are nothing. The fact the ML was determined to change, or attempt to, shows he wanted to love and follow this strange feeling of attraction that he never had encountered before.
To round it up I’ve rewatched this already and would do it again……..

Amazing Thriller
This drama, unlike others had my mind blown….. I can usually deduct who the murderer/killer is and not be surprised. This one got me good. When they exposed who the killer was - I honestly can say, I did not see it coming. The actors all did a brilliant job in presenting their roles and the casting was brilliant.ML although known to me previously and I have to say I’m not a huge fan but he was brilliant.
FL - I love SooYoung from Girls Generation - watched a lot of her dramas and she does this role justice. A few of these actors were first time for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tissues needed
Storyline was so incredible. Bringing the sadness of life into the cinema but also creating a space within the young to endure it was well thought out and well done.Acting and cast were incredible.
Music nicely done.
The cinematography in this film is amazingly outstanding at the end and during the paragliding scenes. Loved this film. Very sad but beautiful. The actors did an amazing job with bringing the story across and even better at bringing the characters to life. Definitely a must watch but have your tissues on hand, you’ll need them for sure.

Romanticized story of a kingdom divided cannot stand.
The romance side is the part I fell in love with… the other side of demons/monsters I could do without. That being said I loved the story development of the “monsters” relationship. In reality I know it would never happen but it was fun to humanize them a bit and allow them to grown fond of each other and even love in friendship together. It was rather dragged out around episode 14 onwards - I'd rather watch 10 very good episodes than 20 just for the sake of carrying it on.
The ending it's not that bad, but it's way too predictable: if you're not into open endings, just forget about this drama.
Onto the good stuff:
- Lee Seung Gi is just gold in this series, I cannot think of anybody else for the role of Son Oh Gong. Same goes for Cha Seung Won (Ma Wang) and Sung Hyuk (General Frost).
- Soundtrack is Bomb: "Let me out" is a hit as well as "If You Were Me" and "When I Saw You".
I don't think I'd rewatch this, cause it's too painful now (i didn't enjoy the ending) and also because of the dragged out part (13-17)
The ending was a bit on the sad side - leaving you wanting to know if he gets her back and how he does it. That being said, as he has to go to the underworld - I think it will definitely be too dark for me liking. Will have to see if they bring our a season 2.

Awesome!!!!!
I have to say that this one, even with the evil spirits, kept me fixed to the screen. I loved the cast members and their acting was superb. To see the three family members interacting without knowing they’re family was fun to watch. I figured it out early in the piece about the Crown Prince but wasn’t surprised when they showed the child. I know I’ll probably sit down and watch this one again even though I flicked through some of the spiritual scenes of the evil Kim Wong-Hyong killing/absorbing other spirits. Was this review helpful to you?
