I haven't read the novel. I saw a video. Novel starts from episode 17 and 13-16 episodes are flashback and first 12 episodes were added by screenwriter.

I'm not feeling chemistry between leads it feels like more of siblings but loving them as individual character. ML is growing on me. Initially he was just stupid and lazy. Lu Si does cutesy so well. Normally I hate cutesy FL but really like it her here. Can't wait to see Phoenix character. SML is also good and i hope he will have separate storyline with SFL.
