I've not used my MDL account since 2015 😱 but I came back solely for this thread cos this is the best and most…
I feel ya! For me, this is not the first time I’ve joined an active comment thread for a drama (my first time was during “Kill Me, Heal Me”), but this is definitely one of the best & fun active comment threads to ever exist, especially considering that this is a romcom and light drama!
I subscribed to Disney+ for Marvel, but I got lucky to have encountered Crazy Love on the app!
KJU and Krystal are very cute together but the BTS for Her Private Life are much, much swoonier. KJU and Park…
Yeah I’ve watched HPL and their BTS scenes and I remember loving their chemistry off & onscreen. I personally think that PMY has the best chemistry with KJW, their chemistry is even better than PMY & Park Seojoon.
On the other hand, KJW & Krystal in their BTS look so cute like brother-sister relationship. I love how KJW treats Krystal, playing with her at their shooting sets.
Is this really good ?! The comments and rating doesn't make sense.
Here’s my mini review without spoilers:
1. Your initial thoughts would be “this looks cliché”, “the story starts slow”, “the main couple looks weird and crazy”, etc.
2. But as the story progresses, you’ll see that the writer is playing with our hearts. This drama is full of twists, becoming anti-cliché with each episode, and giving us out of what we expect.
3. Because of the crazy relationship & chemistry between the main couple, the dark mystery circling around the male lead and the misunderstandings that actually help with the plot progression, this drama gets more interesting with each episode. So rather than it getting more boring & bland, it’s actually getting more intriguing & engaging.
4. Although some of the plot seem ridiculous at first, but they’re actually needed for the plot. You’ll find them reasonable, realistic and relatable at some point.
5. The romance is not cringy like most romcom dramas. It’s very well executed in its own pace, not rushing or slowing down too much. The ML/FL don’t change overnight just because they start falling in love with each other.
6. The comedy doesn’t feel forced. Sometimes the comedy is dark, but it’s the kind of funny that doesn’t make you cringe. You’ll find yourself thinking “yes, this is how romcom is supposed to be”.
7. Sometimes it gives us emotional damage, especially with the ML’s backstory. His life is so sad it makes us hope he’ll get the happy ending he deserves.
8. All OSTs for this drama are absolute bliss to your ears.
9. Just start watching it now, unless you don’t wanna suffer from the waiting.
I hope these points will help you jump into watching Crazy Love! :)
PS: I’ll edit this review as the story progresses more.

My friend, most ratings on a site like MDL don’t make sense. You can’t fully rely on them, but the comments here are mostly positive, consist of fans who are genuinely loving this underrated gem. I’m telling you, this drama is super underrated. It’s frustrating.
And I also agree with @dcinmb. Crazy Love isn’t doing good in both South Korea and international because of the bad marketing and overlapping timeslot. Now that ABP has finished airing, I hope at least people will wake up from their sleep on this gem.
For you, I’d say give it a chance until around ep 4-7 and you’ll see. The romance starts to sizzle at around ep 8-10. Now we fans are suffering from the waiting.
I can feel that Segi isn’t a nice guy from the very start. I bet all the money he spent in helping Gojin build GOTOP was given from someone else who has ill intentions towards Gojin, and I think it might be possible for Baek Sooyoung’s father to fund him.
And I used to think that the person with the wrist scars was only paid to sabotage Gojin, BUT after rewatching, I changed my mind. It seems like he/she is doing this alone.

Now imagine when CL has reached 16 episodes, how much more comments are we gonna see here? 👀
If KJW does more romcom dramas in the future (f*cking HOPEFULLY), I’ll be rewatching HPL & CL while waiting for next episodes too.

It’s frustrating that the ratings aren’t doing them justice, but our journey is still on!
I’m planning on binge-watching it because I have no Kdramas to watch other than Crazy Love. Plus, I’m a fan of Chae Soobin.
“when you say enemies to lovers im waiting knife to throat, gun to heart and pure hate not some office romance in which they just dislike each other”
Flashback to Gojin-Shinah fight scenes, especially the physical fight scenes, LOL our Crazy Couple is the real definition of enemies to lovers.
I’m a potato, so who wanna be my onion? 🤟🏼
If it was promoted well, it’d be a real hit, in my opinion.

Maybe I’m just missing his sexy sinister looks. 😭
