This romcom lakorn is actually really really really good! Here’s why:
1. Smart, calm & collected ML. He’s a realistic/relatable character. He doesn’t control other people’s thoughts. He’s a very good listener and a very good advisor too. 2. Smart FL who knows how to use logical thinking, stands by her own opinions, but not afraid or ashamed to change her views once she knows she was wrong. PS: I wish I could have even half her personality. 3. The writing is consistent! There’s not many unnecessary or filler scenes like most lakorns. Only a very few scenes can be skipped. 4. Other than some cliché romantic moments (e.g.: FL falling into ML’s arms), overall, their romance develops naturally. In my personal opinion, the romance is not cringy. 5. I rarely like side couples in any dramas I watch (I always skip most of them), BUT this one is exceptional! The 2nd couple is sooo cute!!! I literally smile when they appear on the screen! 6. The CHEMISTRY between the main couple is to die for! It’s not that surprising when this is their second lakorn together. Their acting feels natural. They look like they’re enjoying the shooting. 😆
I think there’s more that I could include here but I can’t remember each of them. What I know is I really like this drama. Aside from “Game of Outlaws”, this is another Thai lakorn that I truly enjoy at the moment!
These reasons make me wonder whether I should watch the original version or not. I think I will, sometime in the future.
I’d like that, but I don’t know if they’d fit rom coms? If they do one day, it’d be great to see. Also,…
Actually, yes bestie. Mark usually has great chemistry with his female leads.
In my opinion, his number one best chemistry is with Mew (My Husband In Law). They basically look like a real couple in the drama and we can see how much they were enjoying the shooting. 😆
The second best is with Yaya (Kleun Cheewit). For this reason, I understand why there are still people that ship MarkYaya in real life.
Aside from his great acting, his amazing chemistry with his co-stars is one of the main reasons I became his big fan.
Wow I haven’t been here on this page for almost 2 weeks but hey did I see it wrong or the rating here has really gone up to 8.5? *cries in happy tears*
Holy moly I have theories going on inside my head rn hahahah
Just completed Episode 6.Jane was in jail for 2 years! And it could’ve been more. what was Nont doing the whole…
Yes episode 6 is a heartbreaking episode for their romance. :(
Jen was supposed to be in jail for 5 years. I’m so glad that someone has also helped her getting out of jail by telling the truth about why she caused the riot. I believe that someone is Pin.
During those two years, apart from working in the administration & waiting for Jen, Nont also helps the police by raiding drugs warehouses as the “Black Mask”, without anyone knowing that the person behind Black Mask is actually him. Not even Chart knows.
Yeah I’m kinda angry at Jen because she pushes Nont away. He has been waiting for TWO years because you told him you love him. After all those two years of waiting, he wants to tell you that he loves you too. Why are you making it seem like his waiting is wasted? Did you forget what’s written in his letter? You think too much about Lisa. Nont loves you, not Lisa. And you already got out of jail, so your dark past is only in the past. Nont accepts you just the way you are. 😢
Hahah I love all the action scenes so much! Which of them do you not understand? Maybe I could help. 😋
I think Mavin will work with the police to investigate the drugs dealing crime. Jen will work as a mole/spy for the police, again, but maybe only for this time.
As for the romance, while Mavin is joining hands with the police, Lisa & him will become closer and eventually fall in love with each other. Meanwhile, Nont will become closer with Jen, tho we’ll see some push & pull going on because of Jen’s hesitation.
I hope Mavin doesn’t turn out to be one of the villains (tho we already saw him killing his business partner. He’s a mafia after all).
BUT why do I have a feeling that Mavin will die in the end…? 😭
Lmao the first episode airing date is December20… and I have a driving test on that day. Hopefully I’ll pass the test and then I’ll reward myself with the first episode of this drama. 🥲
I don't find anything wrong with the script... it isn't that dark... it has interesting turns and twists... i…
I personally like all genres, as long as the story plot & the character development are good.
Action dramas with satisfying action/fighting scenes (not too dark/violent like the Kdrama “My Name”, because I’m not fond of violence), like GLT & the Kdrama “The Fiery Priest”, for example, are what I would rewatch in the future. Their action scenes make me excited! 😆
And I love it even more when the story has romance. I’m a sucker for romance! So, GLT is definitely my type of action-crime-thriller-romance drama. 🤣

I also have the same thoughts. It seems like Thai audience prefers comedy. That’s why they have so many funny movies & dramas.
I salute Metta Mahaniyom for taking a couragious step to produce GLT under Ch3. It’s not easy. Just look at the ratings. GLT deserves better. *sighs*
Right? I’m glad GLT is available on Malaysian Netflix, but there are lakorn fans from other countries who also wanna watch it but sadly not available on their country.

And he reminds me of Piolo Pascual. He has that mixed Filipino face.
I’m not a Filipino by the way.
