I agree. Tried watching Bridgerton last year but couldn’t get into it as it has too intimate scenes. Most of my fav Western shows are mostly non-romance like Sherlock Holmes, Prison Break, Teen Wolf, Moon Knight.

For romance, I’d always go for Asian shows. 🤭

You’re right, LR is THE standard. I’ve been into Kdrama since 2010, but LR surpassed all my favourite romcom Kdramas, even the ones with my favourite actors.

You’re on your 3rd rewatch? Wow, and here I am, still holding back, trying not to rewatch from ep 1. But maybe I’ll have to give in soon. 🥲

Someone here said before that she can’t move on from LovRun even if she tried watching other dramas. Now I’m feeling the same thing. God it’s been 3 weeks but what is all this? LR ruined me. ㅠㅠ

I thought when I started watching other dramas, I’d think less about Lovely Runner. *sighs* Boyyyy was I wrong.

While watching other dramas, I hear “Sunjae-yaa”/“Sol-ah” in the back of my mind. While working, I hear Run Run, Sudden Shower, You & I and Spring Snow playing on my mind. While raining, my mind brings me back to the memory of episode 2 ending.

I don’t think I can get out of this hole. I see no exit. I might have to take about 1-3 months hiatus from Kdrama. Gotta go back to C/J/Thai dramas I guess. Or might as well rewatch my favourite Western shows. Haih…

If I were Sol, I’d do the same things. 🤷🏻‍♀️
