They said as it will cost money, normally they weren't supposed to get the car into the water and just go with CG. They were initially just planning to take an insert shot of the wheel getting into the ocean and for the rest its supposed to be cg as there has to be a seagull on top of it too.
So there was a wire that's holding the car in place. As they practiced when it was just in front of the water and was about to film the actors going in after the insert cut, suddenly the rope/wire broke and the car went into the water 😆😭
They said people were running around because of it but for them who were behind the cameras, they somehow had to save it by filming it still so they were like "get out!! (of the water)" to those who were trying to save the car 😭😭😭
So the scene that came out in the episode is not CG at all and they said the production company is in tears HAHAHA
