So far I like everything , but I feel like it could've been a whole lot better if the story is not rushed. Some scenes were cut and used as flashbacks, which I think is not helping with the flow of the drama. Rather it makes the emotional parts of the drama lose its depth. As a result, I can't really sympathize with the characters or their story as much as I should be.
Thyme's mom is one scary woman! Every time she comes on, I found myself avoiding her eyes and fixing my posture as if she gonna give me her signature stare if I don't. They pick the right actress for this role, the aura she gives off is crazily frightening.
I've created a discussion for F4 Thailand which I got the inspiration from one their interview on Youtube. If you have time, check it out while we wait for the drama to air. Hope to hear it from you!
I appreciate dramas like this, NOT because I support these kinds of behaviors, but this kind of dramas make good…
First of all, I hope you have a good sleep or rest.
I think all people should be able to express themselves without feeling like they're being attacked. However, it is also important to remember is that not all people replying to your comment with a different view is attacking you. As for me, I don't think you going against me or attacking me, because just like you, I am old enough to understand that people have different opinions and preferences. I know better than to take people's response/replies as an attack. Lastly, I appreciate your honesty. I also respect and glad to see different opinion like yours and many others.

Don't be sorry. I see it coming 😂 and I don't expect you to understand my long post either. However, I hope you do reread again to understand other people like myself with different opinion. Then maybe you will understand that I didn't write the comment to attack you or anyone else. I also wrote briefly about people/kids who dreams or picks up ideas from the drama world too. Again, feel free to reread at your own time. Another thing I want to mention is that I'm glad you don't expect anything from the drama world which is exactly what I would've hoped people watching dramas be doing.
How's the first episode guys? Share the honest opinion please! Is it as good as Meteor Garden (2018)? It is a…
I watched 2018 version (some other versions too), I love the casts, but I ended up dropping it. I'm not gonna go in details as to why I dropped it, because that is not the point of this comment.
Although I tried really hard not to compare, I couldn't help but compared it to other versions. I got to say the first episode so far is really gooood. Some of them are newbies to acting, but I am impressed by their acting skills. Not only so, but I like some details in the drama a lot. I recommend everyone to give this version a try too but maybe wait until it is fully aired or something cuz waiting until next Saturday for the new episode to air is really torturing.
I appreciate dramas like this, NOT because I support these kinds of behaviors, but this kind of dramas make good examples to teach people/kids that these behaviors (bullying or harassing other IS UNACCEPTIBLE). Plus, I don't think the director or writer produce this drama with the intention to teach people that what the ML is doing is right. Reality is reality and this drama is made for entertainment purposes. Understanding this point is important. Just because something with toxic plot is produced, that doesn't make it not okay to be produced. It's like asking only the "positive" sides of things to be shown, and hiding the "darker" side of things just because you don't like it. How is that helping anyone to learn what is acceptable and what is NOT acceptable if you choose to present only the beautiful sides of things. You can still teach people with this kind of toxic or dark plot---> teaching that it is NOOOOOT okay to treat others like this. You have your preferences or concerns, this I understand. I also understand that people can pick up ideas or learn things from shows they watch. But you or anyone should know better than to copy or do things depicted in these kinds of shows.
Not only that, but there are tons of toxic plot out there. NONE of them say "Behaviors in here (dramas/movies/shows) are absolutely right/good, everyone should follow, blah blah..." If nothing along this line is being presented, then it is not wrong for these kind of shows or dramas to be produced. It is not right in your eyes, that does not make it wrong to produce or remake. Again, I totally I understand you.
I think people need to understand and differentiate the different types of shows (Entertainment, educational, etc). Pick up what is necessary, leave anything that is bad and unnecessary for you and move on. If you're watching something to do everything exactly as you see it in a show or a drama, then you shouldn't watch it at all to begin with. This kind of thinking and understanding can be really unhealthy.
At first, I cheered for HS and FZ, but now I just feel sorry for HS. I like her character. I also like her sincere feelings towards FZ but like girl, at this point, if I were you I would rather be single. I feel frustrated and sad that FZ treated her like that. I know he has his reasons but please make up your mind; either stop giving HS hope (kissing her, etc) or love her already!
I think Li Ruo Sheng is a very good friend. I love the friendship he has with Mu Qing, but sometimes I couldn't help but feel sad knowing Mu Qing's true identity.
This drama is pretty good. Better than some dramas I've watched in the past. Acting is great and chemistry is there. The flow and development feel natural to me, which I really like it. Nothing to complain about this drama. Totally recommend!
I am so confused with is drama lol. Sometimes I feel like understand where they going but other times I'm lost; I don't know what is going on with the two leads anymore.
okay " no offence " to anyone ..i am just halfway through the drama but why do i feel the comedy with the tenants…
Same. For me, the beginning caught my attention. I love the tone and mood of when the ML was aboard. However, I find the comedy/humor tone they incorporated in this drama distracting and forced. I know that it was added to lighting the dark and serious tones of this drama. But after a couple of episodes, the two tones/moods (serious vs comedy) clashed with each other. I thought I was watching a serious and intense drama with "SOME" comedy, but comedy is in every episode, so it was like what am I watching?!
Additionally, I didn't feel the chemistry of the leads. They are great actors, BUT I don't feel the romance. That butterfly feeling when the ML and FL are together isn't there. Maybe because they both have their own things/goals they are pursuing that make the connection between them not as strong? Idk what it was but yeah, I dropped this drama.
Anyways, I love ep.7! Can't wait to see ep.8!
