What a beautiful drama this was. The music, the acting, everything was so wholesome, yes, even the romance, though the accent was definitely on the music and its power. I could have watched 10 more episodes of obsessive Naoki composing and his friends trying to take care of him. I wanted to adopt Toya and hug Kazushi. Everyone should have an Akane-chan to believe in them. Will watch again when I need comfort. Lucky Me is already on my playlist, the other songs will surely follow. I will sign up for any Takeru Satoh's pet project. Turns out that Kenshin is one hell of a producer. ;)
Any way you look at it, I don't know how will they get out of this situation because the final boss (after the real Yesha) is the Emperor - the only one powerful enough to cover up the mass murder and the existence of the entire army.
Still, I really want them all united to solve the Yesha case. Even the Peacock. :P
I like the drama very much (I am on episode 18), but I am preparing for another bad ending in Chinese dramaland. What is it about drama writers and throwing everything but a kitchen sink at their main character? What else should he suffer - a plague?!!
I am watching this for the first time, I am on episode 27, and I am curious: Do we ever learn who killed the previous Empress and betrayed Guihong? I can't stand the Emperor and Guihong is on the thin ice. :D
Chu Zhao ate unnecessary time, ended up pathetic.
Final battle was pure fire, it could have been longer. But, it was fire, the power couple fighting together.
I guess I am going to start new Cheng Lei's drama on Sunday.
Still, I really want them all united to solve the Yesha case. Even the Peacock. :P
