Pros:
- Fascinating concept that makes the viewer ponder many possibilities
- There is a sense of urgency and panic that creates an unsettling feeling throughout the whole movie
- Some genuinely haunting imagery and themes that are memorable
Cons:
- Very few of the story elements are coherent (even after the conclusion)
- The movie is silent too much, which makes the viewer lose attention (and likely will induce sleep)
Final thoughts:
There you have it. The story is a total mess; it sounded promising, but didn't do much in the end. I'm not sure the actual creepy parts are even worth the journey. It was a struggle to maintain interest and stay awake for this one.

Pros:
- The atmosphere is unique and strong, with its over exposed light shot giving off a dream-like aura
- The story is interesting, as it shows the characters looking at death as something more beautiful rather than morbid
- The main female character, Morino, is fascinating and her story is tragic and beautiful
- Some of the graphic images shown are incredibly unnerving and help give the movie an authentic feel, which adds to the experience quite a bit
Cons:
- The plot feels very fragmented near the end due to relying heavily upon symbolism and indirect deeper meanings behind actions and words
- While the metaphoric presentation is cool, it seems inconclusive and a little unfinished
Final thoughts - This is one that makes you stop and reflect after viewing. The experience at face value is pretty good, but when you ponder the deeper meanings, the movie gains more appreciation.
It is certainly non-conventional and the presentation may not set well with some, but this is a surprisingly deep and fascinating movie to those who wish to stop and think about it.

Pros:
- There are some unforgettable and incredible action sequences and destruction, especially near the end
- Jackie Chan is cool (as always)
- Some of the humor is well-placed and creates a light mood to contrast the heavier elements in the plot
- The fight scenes and stunts are very satisfying
Cons:
- The overall pacing feels inconstant; some scenes even feel skippable
- It is strange that the comedic efforts aren't more prevalent, since they are actually funny (only some of the movie utilizes this)
- Some of the police investigation and legal/court logic is laughable and unrealistic
- A couple of times, it seems like Jackie's character is too "loose-cannon," which gives an impression that he's not a 100% "good guy"
Final thoughts:
Watch this if you like exciting action and physical stunts! There are some great scenes sprinkled throughout the film amidst the dry dialogue, but the real treat is the mall scene are the end.

- While the majority of the movie isn't very scary, there are certainly quite a few disturbing scenes that are really shocking and tough to see
- It seems that the "horror" elements of the plot are purposeful and have interest in developing the plot
Cons:
- The mystery wasn't very interesting and the execution was very lacking compared to the original
- It was hard to keep attention to most of the movie, due to lack of interest in the story of character
- There was also not really much to make the movie feel unique in regards to presentation (sound direction/cinematography)
Final thoughts:
The original The Eye is far better and worth every second of watching. While this shares similar elements, the execution was just too bland and made it feel like a disappointment overall.

Signal excels the most in two categories: the plot and the characters.
The plot was surprisingly deep, well-written, and was executed brilliantly. The time manipulation aspect was not corny or cliched.
The characters took some time to develop and to understand completely. The show does a great job of showing perspectives of other characters and revealing backstories to create character depth.
The only weak aspect of the show was the slow pacing, which works well for character development, but not so much for plot progression. Some of the aspects of the main plot are easily forgotten after being dragged on for several episodes.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this show!! Check it out and let me know if there are any other shows that are similar.

PROS
+ Every single car scene is exciting, impressive, and thrilling
+ The main characters are wonderfully likeable and show great chemistry that conveys an emotional response
+ Even the music is fitting and adds a charm to the action (although it's not as memorable as the "playlist" in something like Baby Driver)
+ This is one of those action thrillers with a good amount of substance to digest with some emotion-swaying drama elements
CONS
- Sometimes the plot takes a backseat to the action due to its simplicity
- Eun-ha (main character) is such an interesting character, but there are only a few details about her background

This is definitely one of the best movies released this year!
I really hope a lot of people see this. It's unusual to find an action movie with this much heart.
9/10

PROS:
+ A fun and silly tone that consists of slapstick comedy and impressive kung-fu fights
+ Great cast of interesting, memorable main characters that have equally good chemistry
+ A couple of memorable scenes feature some awesome stunts
CONS:
- Disjointed and messy plot that seems random many times
- Most of the movie is just a comedy film, rather than a marital arts film
- There are only a few scenes that feature Jackie Chan
- Some of the humor carries on for too long (Example: setting up pranks takes several minutes for a single laugh)
This was surprising, because I was going in anticipating another funny and cool kung-fu film starring Jackie Chan. This is none of that. However, it is still a great time!
I laughed a lot and got even more excited when I saw the (seldom) more action-packed parts that I initially anticipated to be the majority of the film.
Side note: There is literally a car chase scene where Jackie Chan pursues thieves while on roller skates. If that doesn't sound amazing, this movie is NOT for you.
