jesus christ the quality of this... was it filmed with a phone? why the production is so trashy i've seen lowbudget student shortfilms having better quality...
After watching the movie version i have mixed feelings... with such a small amount of dialogue the inner monologues are very important and needed to understand the characters and their thoughts tbh i'm very surprised they completely cut that out, the storytelling in the movie is a lot weaker because of that... I'm going to stick with the drama version
1) The dosctor does this to him because he saw him when he wanted to commit suicide and did not want him to commit…
would be amazing if you subbed the movie, i didn't watch it because there is still no english subs and i like to understand what im watching, waiting for the link ^^
I already read the manga so I know how it will end but this is one of those dramas where i really don't want the main couple to end up together, akira doesn't deserve yuki and i feel like akira is gonna get everything he wants in the end without much suffering
When you make a drama where almost nobody is rooting for the "main couple" to end up together you know you failed big time... all i'm saying is Pin Jun was the only likeable character in that whole messy series and he deserved so much more
The bodyguard looked so much better with his hair combed back. I can't believe they made him wear that pot hairstyle
I was thinking about this throughout the whole series. I know they did it to make him look younger but that pot hair wasn't it at all, he looks so hot with his hair pushed back, almost like a different man
Such a good drama, BL or not, the chemistry was just on point, the emotions were raw. Hoping for more korean LGTBQ+…
"BL or not", honey this was full on BL, they confessed their feelings to each other or talked about liking each other multiple times in the series, especially in the last episodes, spoiler: (taejoo even kinda came out to his dad when he told him he liked gook but it's a one sided feeling just from his side), also they kissed too what more do people want? like the actor playing gook literally thanked for watching and called wyel a romance story
this is a masterpiece! script, directing, editing, acting and the fact that they were able to pack this in 10 min episodes? unbelievable... thai bls can sit down and learn because there is a long way to go for them to reach the same level of quality
the only manga i've read that literally made me cry, i never thought that would be possible because i'm not a very emotional person but when i finished reading it i was a sobbing mess
Gook doesn't tell him his real feelings. He tells TJ that he's confusing his feelings for him with his mom and…
Thank you but i don't need the interpretation of the scene i understand what is going on, i just wanted the raw dialogue especially that one line that taejoo says properly translated, thats all but thx anyway
can someone who speaks pretty good korean help me with one part in the subs, it's during the confession scene, taejoo is like 'so tell what are your feelings for me' or sth like that, it's after gook saying taejoo always does as he wants. I've seen like 3 different versions and all of them differ quite a lot.
I'm still thinking whether Taejoo and Gook actually kissed on that grass and it was cut due to censoring or Gook pushed Taejoo just before Tae was about to kiss him cuz those dialogues later on kinda seemed like they did kiss?? i don't know
I don't know why people are surprised when it comes to taejoo, i think he liked gook since a long time, he was just trying to push away those feelings and supress it but since gook started dating that girl taejoo couldn't handle it anymore so he took a risk and went all in confessing to gook, gook rejected him but i feel like he only did it because he thinks taejoo sees him like his caretaker/mom or sth like that, i honestly feel like this whole thing at this point is just too overdramatic, they're both clearly in love with each other this conflict feels so forced idk
What does he mean that Gook isn't suppose to have a conscious?
He basically means that Gook shouldn't be his own person, he shouldn't live his own life (presumably has other friends, girlfriend, his own opinion, taste etc). As his shadow/bodyguard he should be only "devoted" to him, he should always follow what Taejoo does and says, I'm pretty sure Taejoo came to this conclusion because of what Gook started doing (going on a date, saying no to Taejoo)...
It almost felt like I was watching a straight kdrama throughout the ep 3 and 4, like i ain't even joking lol I have to say though Taejoo is a pretty cruel character, at this point i think he is very aware of the fact that Gook might have feelings for him, but he still "plays" him, teases him, treats him like he almost owns him (wants to have a say in everything gook does but at the same time is freely living his own life with a girlfriend) it' just what i could grasp from my limited korean, if you ask me this whole bl/bromance aside power wise this friendship/relationship is just not really healthy.
