Guys, don't mix something inappropriate to this drama. Lol. Just enjoy watching and appreciate the actors. The good thing about this drama is that it follows the novel. A novel always has it's complicated story and characters that's why readers are interested to read it. There's no such thing as black and white. Adaptations from the book has always been the best decision of a director and following the novel would make it look great as it contains dialogs that best describes each character.
When I was young, I read a lot of novel; and movies & series at that time couldn't make the same as what the novel can wishing someone would try to make a movie or series from it. So I'm happy that most of the directors now adapt from the books, most of the beautiful and wonderful stories came from the book.
XL and XY really has a great chemistry here. I love to watch them. However, there's something between XY and TSJ's chemistry that I can't help but repeat their scenes from the moment they met. I would be happy if the director would follow the ending of LYF in a novel. I just think XY somehow deserves a pure love. I love how he truly respects her even as Wen Xiao Liu. TSJ's love could feel like home. 🥰

I completely agree with you. Kim Hyun Joong is one of those few celebrities who has always been honest and true. He's actually a warm person and I admire him for that.
I was a bit disappointed in this.. The main leads acting are quite good but in the end somehow empty. I don't know. May be some will like this more than I do. So far, this is Yang Zi's weakest drama. I just hope the two main leads here will do a costume drama soon.
