Exactly. This is a great drama for me. Maybe some people doesn't like less romance. I hold the other drama's I'm currently watching because I'm hook into this.

Honestly, I am super annoyed with her mother too but I want to see deep down, her reasons and intentions. I understand her frustration being a mother but she's really too much. But MCH still loves her. I want to understand that too. It's intriguing to me. Even if she knows her mother is at fault, she still thank her and even return to be with her mom.

Original title of this drama is 'Story of Joy' so this revolves around MCH life. Being an independent woman, how well she could manage and all.

Well, as for YZ, she had kissed the other actors aside from the ML. i.e. AOL, LYFS1, not sure if she did in the 'Legend of the Dragon Pearl'

It's hard for her mother to accept it. She never realized how she hurt her daughter with her actions. She has good intentions but she never consider her daughter's feelings. She has to realize it herself otherwise,
she will never understand her daughter. She may changed may be, in the 29th or 30th episode per teaser. Let's see.

Oh, this rating became so low. Now I understand why, is it because of the slow burn romance? Geez! Well, I honestly enjoyed watching this. It's the kind of real life drama where it made you involve if you are that person or if you knew that kind of person. Since this story revolves around MCH, with the original title "Story of Joy", it's understandable that this is about being an independent woman. Being a daughter. A career woman. In most Asian countries, a child must always obey their parents/elders and going against them is a taboo thing.

I like how the romance between MCH and YZM develop. It's slow paced makes it worthwhile and more appreciated that way. Because it feels natural. I'm on the verge of waiting for episode 26 and onwards. Just seeing YZM and MCH eye contact is crazy! 🥰

Well, that's me. A slow paced drama has all the time to develop every character and emotions. The writer surely want to build up those kind of feeling, the longing and anticipation. 💜

The grandmother has better plans for YZM. YZM said, the hotel and MCH is important to him and he won't let anyone or any form that could hurt and ruin both.

I honestly like this though. I actually don't like super fast paced drama. A slow paced drama have their time to develop every character and emotions as well as understanding of the plot better. This is based in "Story of Joy" so it literally evolved in Mai Chenghuan's life as a daughter, and a woman.

Being a daughter and a mother was one of the highlight in BCE. I hate her mother too. That kind of mother is toxic and yes, it's happening in Asia. Since it's the story of Joy, we would be seeing her mother a lot.😅

She's may be worried bec people keep calling her fat previously and that she can't even show her flat tummy. I know she worked hard to be this slim. While we all know she was never fat. I actually prefer her to gain a little bit more. Her body in Immortal Samsara is great.
