Are the writer's other dramas as good? I've tried 30 mins of Love from a star maybe I should try again.
I loved My Love from the Star, but it's not as good as CLOY. I'd suggest trying it again, it's one of those where it takes a few episodes to like the main characters.
Introducing my mom to this show tonight. Really hoping she loves it as much as I do.
My mom is watching it too, it's her first time watching a drama! It's hard to explain all the cultural context (I'm white with a Korean mother-in-law to help), but I'm so proud of her for giving it a try!
Wow, reading the many comments about the latest episodes really make me want to start watching this drama again.…
Episode 8 broke me it was so good. I honestly wish I would have waited, the wait is awful, but now we only have 2 weekends left till the end of the show!
Hats off to fellow American fans! Everyone around me is excited about the super bowl, they don't know it's actually a holiday because it's SeRi's birthday/the anniversary of her being saved from jumping off a bridge! It's so lonely being the only one in the know around me!
After watched this drama, I really hope the North and South one day will unify with peace.
Same here! I know it's silly a drama made me feel this way about such a big issue, but I can't stop thinking about how sad it is that the two countries are separated!
On the one hand, I am so happy/grateful to have watched another episode, on the other hand, I already miss this show and I don't want to wait even another day!
Same! Nobody I know watches kdramas, so this comment section has been my best friend lately! It's hard to even…
I'm a total sucker for impossible love stories, and my heart also feels broken over the real-life split between North and South Korea, so this show is like a double threat to my heart! My favorite thing (besides, obviously, the love story) is feeling like I'm able peak into NK and see that they're humans doing the best they can. I love the dichotomy of her finding happiness in a country where the standard of living is so much lower, and I love love love NK F4 and the village ajummas. So, everything really, haha! How about you?
Any guesses as to what the armed men wanted SeRi to say on the phone? Now that they're back in SK I'm wondering when/if they'll revisit that plot point.
Can someone explain to me what problem Jo Chul Kang has with the Ri Family? I understand that he killed Mu Hyuk,…
My guess is that they won't give him a deeper reason. I think he was originally motivated by his desire to cover up Mu Hyuk's murder and his fear of Captain Ri spoiling all the power he had built, and now that he's been forced to leave North Korea he'll be driven by revenge for the rest of the series. I adore this series, but I do think a more complex villain would have been good.
I love how the comment section here for this drama is so active! I'm living for these comments here these days…
Same! Nobody I know watches kdramas, so this comment section has been my best friend lately! It's hard to even talk to anyone, all I want to talk about is this show!
and years I've skipped.
