I dont get the " none of them were even teenagers in the 90s". This was actually a little painful to read, this person must hate all historical dramas since the actors in them weren't even teenagers in the in that century...
I was so sure this was based on a novel, but it's not? I probably got it mixed up with something else, but still, I had an argument with my friend over this...
I'm fine with the politics, but I don't get the demand for "exposition" when the acting clearly tells you what…
I just want to point out that "bromance" and "censored BL" are not the same thing.🛑
A "censored BL" is most often made into a "bromance" (The Untamed, Word of Honor, The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, Killer And Healer, A League of Nobleman, etc.)❤️
But an original "bromance" production is not a "censored BL" (D.P., Under the Skin, MIU 404, The Devil Judge, The Guest, Marry My Dead Body etc.(I could go on))💙 (stories that focus on plots other than romance, but have strong relationships between the main characters😉)
