i'll answer based on what i have read! I have completed YothaGun novel and i am currently reading ArcArm part!! So what I can say is that for ArcArm they story arc is more college school aligned (from how much i have read) but with YothaGun its a little different, what i mean is there is depth to story! in the sense that both have some troubles and they try to overcome them. tbh i feel like the storyline of YothaGun doesn't have much connection to them college students. i haven't read FaifaWIne part so i won't comment on that
that's only my take on it, its a good light-hearted watch so maybe you can tune in once in a while or maybe after 8eps for each cp to just binge watch

Yeah I understand what you mean, right now what they are showing is already a year later of YothaGun as a couple. And since we don't know much about their character bg it might seem weird. But trust me, I have read the novel and they are portraying the roles very well!! and santa's character, Gun, has to be like that to counter the darkness of Perth's character, Yotha. And if it gets cringe blame it on the author of the novel because the novel in itself is like that!!!

i don't know if you have read the novel or not, but santa's acting is very much similar to how his character, Gun, is depicted by the author in the novel. Their part of the novel was titled "Sunshine and darkness" so they are very much aligned with the character.

No, its now wrong. The show will run that long. Its because there are three main couples and all three couples have 8eps each. It starts with ForceBook's storyline, then PerthSanta and then JuniorMark. Though all couples will also appear in almost all episodes, the 8 episode division will mainly focus on the storyline of that cp.

Yeahh I agree, I advise you to tune in when the second couple—PerthSanta (YothaGun) story starts. I am saying this because I have read the novels and FB story is rather a romantic comedy without much of an important plot and the director himself said this, but for YothaGun part it’s different, both in the novel ans as per the director. As it’s set in the same universe there might still be a bit comedic part to their story too but the overall plot of them is rather deep, unlike any other college or school couple or series!

I have read YothaGun’s part and honestly it’s good not just your daily college couple drama, I mean it has depth and plot so I really hope they don’t miss out on this bit while trying to align it with other couples’ timelines

you are absolutely right!! I too am hoping that they don’t turn this into another We Are, especially when it hasn’t even been 6months to it’s completion. And I have really high hopes for Perth and Santa since they are really good actors, plus as I have read their novel I really hope P’New does justice to it, as it has potential!! Also, I really don’t want the other 2cp (PS and JM) to have their storyline be like of a support couple because they too are the main lead!! The plot n all have potential but sorry I don’t trust the director much😮💨
