Mira certainly isn't my favorite character but I believe she is a strong and independent woman which gave up to her life of comfort to follow her dream. Having a boyfriend at her side doesn't necessary mean that her affection for Ren is insincere and even if they were in a situation-ship, this kind of "relationship" isn't a formal commitment. She has never promised anything to Ren, hence, she is free to be with whoever she wants. When you hang out with a group of friends it's quite normal to have a friend which is closer to you. This doesn't necessary mean that you like the other person. Real friendship between men and women exists. Ren's feelings simply weren't reciprocal as she saw him as a friend. I don't think that they were in a situation-ship as Ren was basically friend-zoned.

Honestly, If I were her, I would have punched him at least twice a day. Still, his character is annoying yet cute. I must admit that it is a good combo. In addition, it would have probably been a pity to punch Bright's face every day because he is so damn handsome.

Probably, because the version of her that you see is purely based on what Ren is seeing. Hence, it is filtered by what Ren feels. She could have seen everything differently. Maybe she saw him just as a younger brother and she was afraid of hurting him too much. We are just supposing too much without putting ourselves in her shoes.

Ren's Character is not as you pictured him. First of all, Mira and Ren were never a couple. She was her life-long one-side love. Ren's reaction after loosing his first love is natural and sweet. He not only shows that he is suffering because of it but he also cry and feel desperate. His character is against any kind of toxic masculinity standard, his reactions makes your heart feel warm. When we fall in love for the first time and you break up or you get rejected, you feel worthless and distant from him or her. I believe that his reaction is natural and makes you feel closer to him. Moreover, Mira is not rejecting him because of a rich guy as she is probably richer than him. She gave up to everything to go to Paris and following her dreams. You are making her looking as a gold digger and she is not.
