Okay, I just watched another clip from The Swoon. I'm super excited for upcoming episodes! Y'all can watch on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9N8frGPF2BM . The intensity is increasing for sure.
I don't read the book so I don't know if the movie adaption is different than the book adaptation or not. After watching two episodes, I still can't clearly connect the dots. The actors are good and I love them, but the plot is still blurry to me. So what I understand is that whoever left the blue orchid behind is the serial killer, and that killer must be related to the $70 billion missing.
I honestly don't like the scene that the rich girl won because of the poor girl's painting. It just creeps and disgust for me to think different side of the riches. Really hope the youngest sister get acknowledged one day.
Also, I believe that the financial director who just died in ep 2, know what the orchid represents or possible have an idea who is behind Ms. Jin death. That's why he was so afraid when he saw the orchid. In the ep 3 preview, it seems like the middle sister see the blue orchid. I hope that the killer doesn't target her (she might not die since she's the main character). If we assume that Park Jae Sang (the apologized guy) is the serial killer, then it makes sense since the middle sister (the reporter) did provoke him by asking him about the suicide case and his involvement
The plot kinda frustrating me a bit since the oldest sister knows something that the middle sister doesn't know and vice versa. So like the oldest sister knows about the blue orchid but the middle one doesn't. So if the middle sister sees the blue orchid in ep 3, she might not doubt anything. She might keep it to herself and doesn't mention to her sister. In this case, I hope that the plot will not be dragging us around but sisters both share the information and solve the case together later on.
Overall, I can feel the intensity of the drama by just only two episodes. Looking forward for upcoming episodes :)
I really hope that not only the artists are attractive to watch, the plot should make sense and exciting to watch as well. I will watch it because the trailer is interesting, the drama has Kim Go Eun (female main lead from Goblin) and Uhm Ki Joon (Joo Dan Tae from the Penthouse). My two favourite actor and actress :).
Okay, after watching last ep preview, I come up with this. Since So Min will not appear in season 2, it means that her character Mudeok is likely to be killed since Jin Mu controlled her to be assassin once again. OR Mudeok able to control herself but pretend to be controlled by Jin Mu and kill him at the end (since Jin Mu will not appear in season 2). She has the reason to kill because Jin Mu caused her father to be soul shifter and killed her entire family. But I'm still really confused how Go Yoon Jung replace Soo Min. I'm not against GYJ since she appears in few episodes in season 1 and she acts well in my point of view. We know that Naksu's real body is burned already, so how GYJ appear in season 2 except season 2 is prequel, not sequel?
okay so originally I stopped watching at episode 10 because there weren't much exciting scenes. However, when I saw trailer of episode 17 (the part of Mudeok called leader of Jin family, "mother"), I was like wow! I binge watch from ep 10 - 18 since yesterday lol. Now I'm looking forward this weekend last episodes.
Overall, the drama is all right. It could have been shorter though. I feel like the sections of the female detective doubting/hating the main male lead is kinda long and repetitive.
Romance is not that attractive. I would not ship these two leads. There aren't much romance scene in this drama. (not gonna lie, I skipped the romantic scene between them at the end of the drama lol)
The acting is not bad. Actors are good, but the characters itself are sometimes silly.
I do like Kang Mi Na acting in this drama. She's funny to watch. :)
For Kwon Soo Hyun, this is the first time I saw him acting. He is not bad. I like his Cha Do Won character; it's mysterious but not enough. His sense of justice kinda remind me of character K in Inspector Koo. Both kill people that are deserved to be punished. However, the difference is Cha Do Won also kill the innocent (prosecutor Han). One thing I would change Cha Do Won acting is show more creepy expression to create more mysterious vibe (smiling). His smiling is more of like forcing himself to smile (not natural). It would have been better if he shows more expressions. His expression in this drama is kinda stiff.
One thing I like about this drama is when Nam Han Joon did the criminal profiling. I love criminal topics such as forensic science; so it's interesting to learn how criminal profiling works.
Overall, my rewatch value is 4/10. Story is 5/10. Acting is 7/10. Romance is 3/10. Music is 5/10
lol after watching episode 15, the show caught me off guard there. At first, I thought Cha Do Won (the prosecutor) is Gopuri. However, after watching his brother(the want-to-become-ceo one), I thought his brother is Gopuri instead. Now, the actual Gopuri is the prosecutor. Never doubt your first choice guys lol.
If y'all say so, I'm gonna watch and see how it goes and tell y'all what I think :))
Okay, so I watched the first episode and impressed by the visual effects. Before watching it, I thought it's a romance series, which is not my drama type. But then after watching, hmm, it's not totally romance. I love the leads and also funny moments lol. I'm currently on episode 2, but will binge watch after exam hahaha. I can say I love this drama :)
This drama totally deserves awards!! I'm rooting for Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh! If this drama or Eun Bin doesn't receive any award, it's a BIG BIG BIG mistake. Please tell me y'all agree
