I liked the ending. Overall it was a good drama. Although it was annoying seeing so many shippers ignore Jugyung's…
I understand that, for me it was to much of a cliché ending, after Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol I'm kinda over about "periods of time without contact and a return like nothing ever happened from both parties". I just wanted a nice ending for SJ who had such nice character development, be it with JK or someone else. It just felt empty, but you can't just please everyone, so yeah....
But isn't that exactly why they didn't end up together? In those 2 years Jugyung still couldn't get over Suho…
That's why I'm saying "they did him dirty" in this situation. They could have ended his feelings in episode 14, and hinted towards a new relationship. They just mixed something from the webtoon and a new script. It just feels empty to me.
I am on Team Han Seo-Jun and here's why: Many may say that Su-ho and Joo-Kyung have history and a lot of memories together that's why they are right for each other, BUT what about those TWO YEARS that Seo-Jun and Joo-Kyung spend with each other even if as friends, it must be more than SH and JK have been in a relationship, and had a few dates. SJ was with her through everything. TWO WHOLE YEARS, it's long, so many things can happen, and SJ left her in the dark. I don't know....they did him dirty, that crying scene was the saddest thing I have seen in a while in a drama, very impressed with Hwang In Yeop acting, a true hidden gem. Man they did the character dirty in the last two episodes. But I guess some find dreams and some love.
I really liked how this drama started, the beginning was so good, with the FL being a badass. Her giving up everything to have a child, the scenes of being a single mother were so meaningful and touching. Kim Hee Sun's portrayal of a mother really impressed me, also I hoped to see more of her trying to protect her son, something like after being a mother for a long time, she will still be able to remember to fight, and maybe have some more action scenes. I really prefer the first version than the second one. After that it seemed to go downhill with the cliché and cheesy moments.
I appreciate those who are trying to give constructive criticisms but in my opinion you come of more as picky and naggy. Every fantasy romance drama has this kinda cringe and cliché scenes, but that doesn't mean that it's a con. I also think the writer didn't do a 10/10 job, but it's starting to get much better, it improved much from episode 1.
This drama is ok. I like the acting, both leads have nice personalities. I am gonna be honest, the plot is very overused, all drama plots are overused, the only way it can't be noticed is to know how to mix it in the story, by adding nice new elements. The reason it's so criticized is because of the actors, especially Lee Min Ho, he always has a 50-50 chance with his dramas, he is equally hated and loved. It's always expected of him to have extraordinary dramas, but if the writing is bad then I don't know who can save it.
I think what would make the romance better is if they never had that “fated to be” connection. No Id picture…
I think it would be the same, the amnesia thing is such a cliché, I wouldn't be surprised if they use it at some point. It would be a let down for me, it's so extremely overused.
