tan xuanlin is such a mature man despite him being all playful and āindecentā. the way heās giving her many chances to have romantic moments with xu guangyao because he believes sheās in love with him says a lot about his character. instead of being childish and wishing the worst for xu guangyao, heās trying to make them a couple and secretly protecting them/ loving her at the same time. iām in love with his character, not toxic whatsoever (what youād expect from narcissistic main characters)
