how did i freaking miss a gem like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was such a good watchhh!! The end got me tearing..i love the relationship between the king & queen and also the chief secretary & the officer jang & joo ho geol & the eunch!! they are all such bae to the king even thou they know he is not the real king TT.TT they have all fallen for him <33 Im seeing Yeo jin goo in a totally new light!! He is so good in his roles here!! ohh and btw, they use the same actor in the movie for the eunch role!! <33
Loved the ending!! <333 I like how they end the drama in a not so cliche way(which is super common in K-drama) .. is k-drama gonna evolve soon xDDD hahah
havent watched such a relaxing Rom-Com k-drama in a while!! Im loving the Main Cpl and won tak is so funny! wontak and moohak is like tom and jerry xDD ~ I cant wait for the final 2 eps >.< such a refreshing character setup for both ML and FL ~
Adorable couple!!!!! <3333 I really love the relationship between the main cpl and how the ML family treated XiXi ~ No prejudice and no objection just because of her social status... the drama may not have much story plot but it is one of the best contract marriage genre ive watched. To me it has very high rewatch value ^_^

OMGEE SAME HERE! I also did not know why people hated Yu Da, he might be a little childish at first, but after that his character growth was impressive. In fact i was rooting for him in the end =) Yu Da might be young, but he is always giving new insights to Cheng Yi during her worst times.

There is no 2nd FL, but there is a short amount of eps(about ep 29 ~ 32) of another female chess player who is kinda 'obsessed' with him and wants to win him over. But our ML of course is very strong in his stand and tried all ways to block her out, but honestly that girl is pretty ridiculous >.< There is a small misunderstanding between the cpl (ep 31~32) but got resolved pretty fast, no breakups.

Side note:- I kept seeing people getting annoyed at Yu Da but I felt that his character is not bad at all. Instead, i felt Xu Chi(love for Cheng Yi) was a little bit too extreme to the point of obsessed? he was a little but creepy after that when Cheng yi has made her point that she will not accept him. Instead, I felt that Yu Da is pretty commendable, although his character was a little bit childish at the start, but his character growth is pretty obvious.

The main cpl has a healthy relationship and they are pretty cute. The amount of romance in the drama was out of my expectations , it was moderate and very sweet. Would be perfect if it was a little bit shorter, but for such drama with such a atmosphere the ep length is understandable because this drama is intended to convey morals and life lessons as compared to your usual fluffy romance with ridiculous story plot.
