this drama actually has ENG SUBTITLES TT.TT im so touched.....few months ago i couldnt watch it becuz there wasnt subs..and now their official channel even subbed it...good jobbb!!
my momentum stopped halfway thru the drama and it became draggy.....the dubbing was pretty bad~ but overall, its a ok drama. I think its one of the better drama of xu kai xin.
this could well be a full length drama..but the last few eps was a disappointing TT.TT esp the last ep...the only thing i liked was how she became a strong independent woman. Why oh whyyy must the writer do this to our ML TT.TT but i must say FL and ML acting was super good despite this being a mini webdrama! i hope they get to pair up again in another drama....they chemistry was superb!
Have no idea how I manage to finish this 59 eps drama xD but I mange to hang on for yangzi and chengyi. It's a good drama just not my cup of tea. It's way too draggy for me(I hv no patience nowadays) but their acting is pretty good. And I'm even more impressed with Chengyi's acting after L&R. The gd thing I felt of this drama is the romance is not as toxic as other xianxia. There is some misunderstandings and all but it was moderate & logical and not too tragic that is unbearable. And thank goodness for the special eps or I don't think I can sleep in peace tonight after ep 59. XD
I saw some gossips and they say that li yitong is trying hard to gat this role but li yi tong is not that famous…
but i think li yitong suits being the master of xiao lan hua although she didnt really appear for long...so i think its perfect. esther did a great job which i nv expected from her.
my conclusion for this drama is "WOW"! I think this is by far the best xianxia ive watch so far. Everything is so good from story to cinematography to the relationships (bromance/romance). The length of the drama is SWEET =) But of course its not totally perfect as there is a few unanswered plot but that is fine. Love the chemistry of the main cpl and im so glad there is no unnecessary complicated love relationships. Both the leads' love for each other is so straight forward and so pure and rational. No stupid ML/FL =)) I really wanna commend their acting. Dylan's acting got so much better and esther's acting has improved a lot from her last drama.
unfortunately, there is like 2 breakups, 1 is a very short one and another is over the span of about 1mth. but i felt that it was necessary due to the circumstances of the situation.
it was pretty good!!!! Glad that didnt follow the comments and just went ahead to watch it. Except that the front part was a just a little draggy. with all the back story..but it got better towards the end. For the first time, i felt that moon gayoung finally found her best leading man, i felt she had so much more chemistry with yeo jingoo compared to her other MLs.
this drama deserves much more recognition!! Its a very heavy drama and will be a little hard to understand it... In my impression of lee joon, I dont think ive seen him act this good. Only thing im skeptical is why doesnt lady cho ever get punished =.= She did a lot of bad things too but she just gets away..(which i think is bad because it seems to "plant the evil seed' in her. This drama is full of plot twist, its like a roller coaster ride from start to end. side note, i glad they didnt focuz heavily on plot twist of the romance portion, i think everything was enough =)
enjoyed it! love the relationship (romance & brothership) not sure if its becuz its too short, story could be more developed, other than that I think its a decent e-sports drama.
probably too draggy but the story is ok. romance wise is good enough but felt that the 2nd cpl seems to be sweeter. its a different kind of ML as compared to what we usually see in a romance drama, but honestly not so bad. Always a good thing to have a different kind of ML.
its a cute drama but feels like a drama in the 2010s.... dont really have much romance scenes despite it being rom-com. if you are a heavy romance scene/intimate scene drama watcher this might not be your cup of tea. However, its still watchable and it was easy to watch as it has only 12 eps. Only major flaw was the way ML reacted when he found out...
First half of the drama was super messy, it got better towards second half but it was still super messy. the editing was all over the place. However, the acting part was ok , it was watchable, in fact i thought the ML did a good job. It would have been better if they organized the story a little bit.
