I can't understand where there are so many positive comments. Boredom. Stupidity. Holes in the plot. Bad design. Bad music.
How does that compare to Shii and Yancy?!?!?
Heaven and earth.

It's the make up style of the era. It's not the prettiest but I appreciate the commitment to history. Idk too…
Oh, No. I do not blame Bai Lu for the other person's mistakes. But besides ML, there is no other character in the drama that is equally badly written. ... Bai Lu has quite a logical (albeit formulaic) character. No strange throwing. If ML were played by some genius actor, he would have found points on which to rely on and make the character more alive. For example, since Jackie Li does it. Sorry, but against the background of her professionalism, the rest of the actors and actresses pale. That's where the talent is.

sometimes even great actors look so-so together.
The chemistry between actors is a very ethereal substance. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I don’t like the fact that everyone snapped at the actor and didn’t notice the terrible holes in the script.
Either ML is a stupid child, or suddenly behaves like a wise adult man.
And the most important thing. Good actresses play great with newcomer actors. This is real acting. And beginners can learn from older ones. Bai Lu is not the first year in the industry, he may well share his experience with others.

if bai lu cannot play with novice actors, then she is a mediocre actress.
Do you really think she's that bad?

At first I thought it is a good drama but when I am watching I realised that it will be ranked as one of the worst…

I think there was a scene early on in her marriage where she said something about not wanting to get pregnant,…
she wants to deal with her sister's death and leave him. Although I, too, began to get annoyed by this protracted game.

did we watch the same episode bc shiyi did talk to her maids as to why she did those things.
it is not logical.
the scandal that could break out if she was caught is beyond what it is done for.
In costume dramas, there is a lot of such nonsense, where the emperor runs wherever and whenever he wants. but there was a normal drama! even the fact that she teaches women is a scandal, and she disguised herself as a servant and went to the core of the family's enemies, this is a one hundred percent divorce and ridicule her husband's family.
Throughout episodes 23 and 24, she behaves like a complete fool. As if the character of the heroine was changed.

I do not understand. In episodes 23-24, did they change scriptwriter?
What are these holes in the plot and strange not logical actions of smart characters?
Howe's wife climbs into the house of enemies personally ???
She doesn't share the bed with her husband and is lying to everyone that she is pregnant?
The unhappy villainess concubine with each episode acquires more and more new sin ... this is already some kind of stupidity.

+1. it is foolish to expect actors to be perfect people. All actors with a sin, they just do not show it.
If they didn’t mock someone, it doesn’t mean that they didn’t do something else.
Could have slept with someone else's wife / husband. Steal. Lie. Incriminate. Pass by. Insult someone behind his back. Razz.
Few ways to leave someone else with an unhealed wound?
I do not idolize anyone. I don't really care about Ji Soo's fate, I don't like how many people write nasty things. Without trial and investigation.
They look ugly.

Are you thinking at alll? “He was a child” who cares he still did it not to mention sexual assault and you’re…
Ji Soo has been in this industry for a very long time. But these truth-lovers appeared, who did not appear after the "strong woman Bon Song" or "Because this is my first love", but now .... why?
And it’s not clear why not go to court, if all this is true?
Why anonymously, if there are many of them and they want to tell the truth ... and not just drown a person.
I am forty, and I am not naive, therefore I no longer believe that black is -100% black. I also don’t believe that all the stars are white and fluffy.

I communicate with actors, artists and singers in several countries. And there is not a single perfect person. They are all human, with their own benefits and costs. there are NO sinless people on earth. Not a single one.
This does not mean that one does not need to answer for sins, but also too idialize idols, and then pour slop on them, for trampled feelings - disgusting.

I can think of at least 3 mercantile options for why the "victim" wrote this letter anonymously, and did not do everything in a legal way.
it's just word against word.
Where the "victim" does not take responsibility for his words.
Do you really believe that all this is 100% true?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! These wholesale comments have been troubling me as well.
Thanks for the answer, very interesting. to be honest, I thought it was the author's fiction (I don't know the scriptwriter or the author of the novel).
Unfortunately, there are not enough historical dramas, and for the sake of an interesting move, they "change" the real history.
But still, it is much closer to reality than the others.
P.s. Are there any historical books on that period? Very interesting.
