Probably because this WEBTOON is super popular and if the drama follows the success of the WEBTOON (which in my opinion is tough sometimes) than in the end it just helps out his group and agency a lot. Even though no matter what other skills and attributes he is also good at it will never be recognized because of how ridiculous good looking he is. Just saying

Just realized he is Lee Dong Wook BFF in "nine-tailed" he sure has a huge range of roles it's amazing to see honestly

I also seen a lot of kdramas and when I see great chemistry between the two leads it's hard to not want a happy ending . I've also always enjoyed Lee Dong Wook dramas and he sort of reminds me of Lee Jong Suk with how much chemistry they can have with any female lead they are given which in the end creates a drama you will want to watch and have a happy ending

She's got that comedic ability that's hard to do with acting, I noticed that if other actresses tried to deliver lines like her it just wouldn't be the same.
