F4 Thailand IS A Good Modern Adoptation!
After month of putting it off, I finally watched this series entirely, I had it as plan to watch because I heard good things about the main leads Bright & Win but I watched them in 2gether first and that is how I decided to watch this series so Bright & Win got me this far. But what I discovered was another amazing Actor that debuted in this series Dew and he was the one I lached onto and ened up watching all 16 episodes. I had a SML syndrome just because Dew's character as Ren was to perfection.He did an incredible job for his first drama, he tells the story with his eyes and he knows when to smile and with the right facial expressions. Bright did very good too but he had that smerk look his face almost all his scenes and that is the only flaw for his character as Thyme.
Win did a great too, he played his character very well and also MJ which I enjoyed the side story. Everytime the side story came on I was drewling for KFC! My rating is 8/10 only because the 2 half was not as good and there were many scenes that they did not get to squeeze in it. There was no getaway and that was one of great detail missing from this adoptation. It was not my favorite of the entire franchise but it was a good mordern story telling that the used with Social Media and loved that they addressed many issues which the bullying was the main thing but I think they had too much of that and less funny moments. But I recommend to watch it and the opening OST is beautifully sang by F4. I still prefer Boys Over Flower Korean version

I wish everyone could Live Their Own Life!!!
I have about 30 dramas I am currently watching and need to finish lol.I popped on Viki and "Live Your Own Life" is promoting on the home page
and I immediately started watching it even though I had it in plan to watch
as this won't finish until march 2024. I miss Ha Joon after watching him in
"Destined With You", so that is probably why I did not hesitate.
I am currently at ep 5 but had to come on MDL to say how cruel that Aunty
is. Also the Uncle too but not as bad as Tae Ho Aunty. I can't wait to see how
Tae Ho bring her and accomplice down. The FL pisses me off with her annoying
family but come to think of it, she is the only one spending. The brother in college
is sensitive with minimal noise. he really has issues lol. Overall it's a nice Melodrama
to watch with far less entanglement than "The Real Has Come".... If you know!

A great concepts and worth the watch
This drama will bring you multiple of concepts in many movie genre to produce this drama!
After watching the entire series, that is when I realize why I invested my time because it
has many layers to it. This creative writing and directing style touched on Romance, Mental Health,
Social Pressure, Abuse, Greed, Betrayal, Trust, Manipulation, Control in love & war.
At times I thought I was watching Scarface (Mafia concept scenes), then Mission Impossible (Fight plot scenes) and a journey to 50 shades of Gray ( all of Kinn/Porsche love scenes & Vegas/Pete scenes in ep12 -14 ) overall a great idea but definately not original, and couldn't figure it out why I kept watching as I hate seeing too many voilent & crime scenes in BLdramas but due to a mix of many genres compact in 1 drama we have watched separately. They created all these concepts to make a BL drama and the main reason why the fans of the show liked it because of the kinky scenes with Vegas and Pete which is abit of a sex slave act but them again Veags/Pete scenes were the talk because of just that tie up.
The actors have put alot of hard work into their characters to bring to the viewers and it was felt. Their acting came across very natural with the main cast and support roles that are in almost every scenes. If you like any of the movies I named above you be able to watch KinnPorsche!

Who is the actual "LOVELY LIAR"?
First thing first is I have enjoyed watching this amazing drama over the pass 8 weeks,
I never would have thought my Mondays & Tuesdays would come alive each week.
The story is unique with the female lead Sol Hee can hear lies but what I found funny
she tells lies as well to hear them lol. The Male Lead Do Ha is a Composer, adorable and a
sweet heart that lives in fear as he was framed of killing his ex. The CEO made him hide from
everyone and never been seeing in public or while composing. Even via Video conference he
hides his true identity. When Sol Hee met Do Ha she noticed he never tell lies which complicate matters
when she tried to figure things out after he told her about him been framed for a crime he didn't commit.
For the first time, Sol Hee heard a lie after Do Ha's subconscious part of his mind believes he killed his ex
but said "I did not kill her" in his sleep.
Over the time she figured out why she heard that as a lie and remembered her ex told her something
that she heard it as a lie and in fact it was because he had cancer and he was protecting her from
going through the sorrows of his health. She then realized Do Ha was telling the truth so she finally believed him
as not been the killer and they worked together in hunting the actual culprit. I won't spoil everything as it would
not be fun to watch knowing everything. This part of the Drama is a bit complicated to understand while watching
It is best to find out who killed Do Ha's ex while watching! I admit that I guessed who it was but got
confused a couple of times and thats what made the story enjoyable because the writers makes the
viewers play detectives along the way lol. Awaiting last 2 episodes to find out who was the Lovely Liar!
Update!!!!
After completing the entire series, I updated my overall score at 9.5/10 because they should have kissed
after the proposal or at the last scene. I loved episode 15 with the scene the female lead finally called him Oppa!

This Drama made my hot summer weekends perfect!
Let me start by saying how amazing the ML actor Lee Jun Ho is, his visuals, voice and entire persona
really bring a sauce to this drama. He is the reason why I am watching this drama to the end.
The 2 episodes with the Arab Prince is just a fraction of the entire Drama and it's more than
worth it to watch it. The ratings were very high and some viewers opened new MDL profile
just to leave bad comments on the actors pages and rate the drama 1/10. Imagine you are an
actor in this drama and came on MDL to see the viewers hate comments about you. It's not
rocket science to know this is a fiction drama and these actors are hired to play the roles.
There is no need for the hate comments. I found those scenes joyful and funny to watch as
the Prince and ML were school friends. Some people take things too far.
I want to add that there are no cliche or unnecessary scenes, the flow of the story is great
and the writer hold back some things while the story unfolds. There is sister and brother
rivalry and this is somewhat the main story and the honoring service workers.
I have watched 14/16 episodes as I write this while it's airing and looking forward to watch
the last 2 episodes. I most add how amazing the cinematography is in this series.
The Director of Photography has displayed some amazing visuals to match the story and direction.
I totally recommend this drama. I will keep my ratings at 10/10 start to finish.

A very original story telling and great Actor!
This story is beautifully executed and a very easy to binge watch.
I felt all the emotions watching.
The ML going through the rest of his life feeling someone else's past life
and the woman is attracted to the ML because of her late husband heart
inside of the ML which brought them closer but he was already married
which made things complicated. I felt it for the other woman as she earns for
her husband's attention while he only care to learn about the heart of the man
he is living with. I enjoyed it and as I love watching the ML in series it was easy
on my eyes lol. He is just so flawless with his acting skills that he makes everything
so natural. I recommend if you like series with no action in a country side setting.

I can't believe I did not rate this drama after watching it when it first released!
After visiting South Korea, they shoot some of the scenes from this Drama.It feels so unreal I was walking through the same shopping mall they shot this drama.
I enjoyed everything about this drama, from the first episode to the last.
Great execution to Lee Min Ho, he is my favorite Korean actor and inspired me for
so many yrs. He has this amazing on screen presence where he makes you feel he
is next to you.

I finally visited the most ICONIC scene in Boys Over Flowers!
After visiting Seoul Tower this fall 2024, I realized I did not post a review when I first watched this series.I enjoyed my time so much in Seoul and it was Lee Min Ho who first form this inspiration to visit the film location
and I was so happy. I saw many fans of LMH there and taking photos at the iconic scene location.
This Drama was executed very well and the bully scenes should not give a low rating based on that.
I watched a drama called KinPorshe where there were worse things than bullying and they rated it very high.
That series story and characters were not better actors that Boys Over Flower South Korea.
I watched all the other adaptations and still could not like any of the others as much as this.

You can find love in another universe!
Finished watching this drama and enjoyed it alot. Sometime some things are not meant for everyone, there will be people who enjoyed the concept and accept it, while some want to be non existence writers that only watch dramas to write about it in a negative way because the story did not go their way. You can't re-write what is already set in stone. It's intentional what the writer wanted to give the bl fans. I love this concept and the great story telling. This drama was a good production value, and the acting was on point. Happy for Jimmy & Sea, their characters found love in another universe! that is why it is Vice Versa.Was this review helpful to you?
One Of The Best Korean BL Drama In 2022! Wish It Was Longer
I finally completed watching this Drama I started watching when it first aired in Mid February 2022,I did not have alot of time to watch alot of Dramas at the begenning of the year so I put this on hold and I am
so glad I finished watching it. This Drama is so freaking cute and wish there were longer episodes.
I feel that the writer was testing the waters with the style as it was more cautious with not over loading too much romance.
This drama is watchable for anyone into BL drama, it's also recommendable for first time BL fans.
The two MLs are opposite of each other, one is a fun and happy cheerful and handsome Designer while the othe
is a serious bossy type but cute and over thinks everything that he think the other lead is ERROR! ERROR!!
But the only error was not having more episodes, it was the right amount of everything. Sometimes watching these
clean romantic shows are just the ingredients we need to laugh a little.
My ratings at the beginning was 8/10 and after finishing I gave it a full 10/10
because the only Semantic ERROR was not making more and longer episodes.

Food, Romance & Some Humor
This was a beautiful watch for me, I enjoyed it a lot.I discovered this Drama on Viki end of July 2022, I was looking for something
to watch that had a romantic fluffy vibe and after reading the synopsis, I started
watching, I recognized the ML(Gao Han Yu) from The King's Avatar and that was the first
time I watched him in a Drama. It was very refreshing to watch him as ML in this drama,
He connects well and know all the angles he is framed in on screen. The FL was new to me
but very received, she acted very well and the two had chemistry. If you are a foodie like me
you will love this show, if you are a hopeless romantic, it will put some spark in your day lol.
Just watch the show and enjoy it. It's a slice of life with a good balance of family, friends
work & romance! It does have an ex girlfriend/boyfriend appearing but it's not dragged with them.

A great Fantasy Drama!
I enjoyed watching this drama from start to finish, what I love about this drama was the ML style in collecting evidence to fight corruption and crime.I watched it purely because I’m a fan of Lee Joon Gi and his execution of his character was beautiful played in every way. Many people watch a drama that is already written yet having their own narratives lol. Just accepts this for what was given to us. Maybe while all wasn’t revealed in this New Season1 because there might be a Season2 based on the ending. This is a Fantasy Drama and sometimes there is just no room to add romance based off the amount of episodes with many characters to cover. I honestly did not miss seeing any Romance even with such a beautiful casting. I enjoyed the action scenes and the the loyalty the ML had with his friends and work colleague to help him fight corruption and crime. If you are looking for romance it’s not the drama to watch.

Doona is a very pretty girl down stairs!
When Doona came on screen, she looked and appear to be like a kpop star,my eyes were so glued to the tele and absorbed her beauty. What I was expecting
is not what I got but I still enjoyed it. I don't think I have ever watched a kpop Idol
Drama like this as they usually showcase the Idol performing a couple times.
In this case, Doona stopped performing while onstage with the group Dream Sweet
and her manager sent her away to stay low until further noticed as she cause some back
lash with the group and herself. They did not show any deep back story into what
happened but in a nutshell, Doona did not want to sing anymore without explaining
what was wrong with her.
At the house where pretty Doona lives downstairs, Won Joon moved in upstairs.
His friend from high school Yoon Taek also live at the house and that is how Won Joon
ended up living there. First Doona thought Won Joon was her anti fan as he recognized her
the day he moved in and was wearing merch sweater but he got it from his best friend Su Jin,
is a super fan of Dream Sweet and bias is Doona. Every day Won Joon woke up he saw Doona
looking at him, they became friends after a while then Doona started to follow Won Joon around.
Won Joon high school crush started attending the same University and they started hanging out
again. What wasn't clear was that Doona was falling for Won Joon but she was giving him dating advise
how to find out if Jin Joo was into him. But Doona was in fact falling for Won Joon. She made the first
move on him and he felt butterfly from their first kiss but he did not react the way Doona was hoping as
Won Joon doesn't kiss his friend. Their 2nd kiss was the best ( same as on poster when they were outside)
They came clear about their feelings and started dating, but it was long after their romance came to a holt as
Doona's Manager Park In Wook appeared. He advised her to do a comeback just as Doona but she will have
to break up with Won Joon.
Doona did not want to break up but she was kept away from Won Joon with no phone contact.
They met and Doona said if he went to MS after graduation and after 2 yrs they could go public with
their relationship. Won Joon was not confident at the time as he saw himself as a nobody so he decided
to break up with Doona. Won Joon focused on his studies went to MS. They met again at the reunion
dinner at the house. Doona really missed Won Joon alot. He did tell her he missed her too.
In the ending it wasn't clear if they got back together but the hugged and you see both of the in Japan
missed each other in going opposite direction on their separate business. Doona looked back to see
Won Joon but he did not see her. So in a way you can say they started dating again but still was not
fully revealed. When you are watching, do not miss any of the flashbacks scenes or preview scenes
as they are also the answer to how the story concluded.
Overall I gave this a firm 9.5 ratings. No one pissed me off lol. Also loved the Cinematography, very
detailed and show exactly what we need to see. I binged watched it in one go!!!

I have watched all episodes, but before completing I had to come read the comments and reviews and I am speechless to read the negative comments towards Cutie Pie here. I see someone scored 1/10 for no typical reason, It almost feel like the people that are writing reviews are purposely bringing negative remarks to bring down the score. I am not from that Country but I am a fan of watching bL dramas especially from Asian. Zee & NuNew had a lot of chemistry onscreen. The story is about the two with the older making a promise to marry the youngest from his family but be by his side until he is of age then get married. They both had secrets about their lives and things started to pick up with more revealing half way through the series. Do not follow the negative comments here to decide on watching.
