Are you a english speaking audience or can you understand Chinese? It seem to me like you didn't understand the last episode? Because what you said is not true. It's not a happy ending what we saw all that happened between Nan Xin and Xiao Wu Di never happened. None of what we saw existed. It was confirmed at the end when she revealed that it was just her book and her husband is called Mao Xiao Jun who she grew up with. So what we've been shown was just a her novel.

I liked the drama all the way till the end last 15min. I think they ruined the show for me by ending it like that. The pair is so cute but if I knew it was going to end like that. I think I would stay away. Kind of wish I didn't watch it. Ending was bad in my opinion.

In my opinion it doesn't end in happy ending. :/

Ohh you would need subs if you don't understand Chinese. It could be confusing. But since you already watched it. He tells Xiao Wu Di that he was not created by Man Xin but was created by Mao Xiao Jun instead. He asked Xiao Wu Di does he really think his world is same like how Nan Xin has written it and he paused to think about it then said not really the same.

Either way it's a major plot hole. You could take it as that all that we watched never happened. The whole thing was just her novel. That's why she answered the audience at the end that it's all just a story obviously such thing can't happen my husband is Mao Xiao Jun someone I grew up with. ( That's a plot hole to me because why would anyone write their husband into their book and give that character a tragic death, worse of all burnt in fire)

Or you can understand it as it all did happen and Xiao Wu Di somehow took on Mao Xiao Juns identify. (Which could explain why he has a ID and can live amongst everyone). But yet they got married and visited the grave yard which says it's grave of Mao Xiao Jun. So then you'll question how is it possible for him to use a dead persons identity. ( So that would be a plot hole)

I would much rather they didn't make it like that. Just have her say yes my husband is called Xiao Wu Di and I created my novel character using his name. It would be so much better in my opinion to think that all this is real than to be told in the end that all we saw was fake never happened. Xiao Wu Di also doesn't exist. We invested our emotions into the pair watching this drama but they never existed. :(

Oh god... This drama is so so cute and good story wise all the way then they had to add in this awful ending at the last 10min in the last episode.... Big wtf why!?!?!???? I hope everyone else liked the ending. I just really didn't like how they ended up making it.

Then to be told none of this ever happened and Xiao Wu Di didn't exist at all. The whole drama was just us being shown her novel. What a crappy revelation.

She could have just said yes the character in my story is named after my bf/husband. That would have been a much better ending. We could think that what we saw was real it really did happen and she's happily with Xiao Wu Di.

Now It's also really werid to think that she would use her husband's name in her novel and wrote him in for real as her childhood friend yet killed him off in the story. Like why would you write your husband to death in your own novel. You guys know what I mean right? Lol ...who does that. Hey hubby let me write you into my novel but have to get burnt to death in it. Eeeepp. Major plot hole because nobody would ever do that to anyone they know in real life. Give them a tragic death in their own book.

I feel like they messed it up by making the ending like this.. so we thought it was all real and Nan Xin ended up with Xiao Wu Di and had a daughter. After investing our feelings into the pair to then be told last moment none of that happened. *Face palm*

24 episode is quiet short. I am up to date on 12th now. It's such a fun drama.

So totally not true Chinese culture doesn't find it attractive. There's so many talks about people hating her voice so much. There's 1.3 billion people in China and I can tell you every single person I know hates her voice. I myself avoided all her drama because her acting is over dramatic and it's on purpose. She acts like this and she suits this type of character and her annoying voice adds to it. The only drama I managed to watch was love between fairy and devil. She is less annoying there in my opinion and her character has serious moment. So I managed to handle the annoying moments lol. That drama had a good story. This drama I am barely surviving and I am dropping it LOL. It's a very standard story. Nothing special and overall her character is so annoying. Which reminds me why I've skipped all her drama's because her character is always like this. 😭 But again I can testify there's people that like her and find her adorable real and cute but equally many can't stand it. People she acts with confirms she's very noisy. But hey if you like it it's cute.

Sometimes these short drama has great story. Wonder how it would be if it was made into a high budget full length. Anyhow season 2 ending is arrrghhh. Very abrupt and ..... So hopefully season 3 coming soon

Classic failure... good drama with a crap last episode random rushed no ending type ending

Actually skipped every show she's in because I never like her character and voice but Love Between Fairy and Devil casted her perfectly. She fits that character so well and acted so well in that drama. I have tried checking out her other dramas in between watching Love Between Fairy and Devil but can't get into her. Honestly I highly recommend Love Between Fairy and Devil not only because it's a great drama the casting is just next level great and her performance is amazing there.

Yeah I do too it moves along smoothly not forced. What I meant was just that it'll be too sad for all the character to start off, strong, mix of comedy and light hearted to going through a lot of heartbreaks and pain then to push them to a sad ending. So I hope it can turn around for a happy ending. At least I feel like the characters deserves that. Xiao Lan Hua and Dong Fang Qing Cang is just too nice of a character to have a sad end. But then again haha feel bad for Chang Heng all the way maybe he can get the girl :P. Anyhow I feel positive that the lead pair will end up together. but please not like miss the dragon. That drama was seriously not good in my opinion. I 2 x speed then skipped episodes then saw the ending. It was written so poorly how it ended. argh lol.

ahh~~ Well at least if that's the case it's got to be really good. I hope it will be good lol. Most people have waited too long and it's getting annoyed about that which is not good for the show.

I don't think for this show a tragic ending will be good. It has been funny, light hearted then gets serious and sad. Then leading to tragic end is just too mean for the characters in the story. As a viewer though as long as they end it well and not rush and force everything in last episode.
