I love this two tgt but I also love yechang and yixuan more so hahahaha and I doubt this rumor is true (although I heard it for months) because bingyan have another drama confirmed lately. If nothing go wrong she will start shooting soon so there's a chance for another fl and I hope it yecheng and yixuan again><

LOL nothing weird with that because even Ren call her "mom" not aunty (because she adopted him) and you don't even ask about Ren's mom case. Even more unexplainable. Also, I really feel there's a holes in that zwc - zwx plot. Like I would love if they show what actually happen between them when he visit her. I think you'll agree with me right? ><

I think we have different view on this drama but for sure it's confusing af.

1. To begin with, I don't think Qin Wan hate ZSC. I'm not sure why but she's pretty loyal to his deceased husband and complete his wills (do you think if she hate zsc she will give zsc all the assets and Zhou's family?). The grandmother have two daughters which is one Qin Wan (the step mother) and other zsc's real mother (not blood related) and I think maybe because she married zsc's father even though she is in love with the sec uncle and was pregnant with their child? Still, I'm not very sure.

2. Her husband is already dead. What do you expect? And I think as his wife she need to keep the family until zsc take over. But don't forget that the head of this family bussiness is zsc's sec uncle not her.

3. About that, she just want Zhousheng Chen to give up his family and let her twin brother take place because she don't want to see a war between them. She tried to used both her and shiyi life (as they're the most important person in zsc life) so he will never come back to the house again. About what zwc do to zwx I'm not sure other than bickering. Maybe because again, she ask if zwc has anything to do about what happen to shiyi and zsc.

I heard it's more crazier in the novel itself HAHAHAH

yeah since his mind is "pure". since start he don't bully or treat her bad and I really appreciate that this drama don't have that kind of troops. HAHAHAHA it's all her brother fault after all :>

lol not secretly at all. He just don't understand about love and have been brainwashed that "woman" is bad for his cultivation. You should try it's fun!

1) Tang Jiafu and Tong Jiaren's case ( I heard in the novel Tang Jiafu died? But no further explanation in drama tho)

2) The factory water waste case (I'm not sure if the one that zsc mention when he visit the guqin's workshop so I'll include it here)

3) The embezzlement in Bremen (I mean maybe I don't really understand this, but do this thing ever mention again?)

4) Ren's mother (again, I think they left this so open and it's only explain in the novel right?)

5) This is just my complain - Zhou Wenchuan and his action. I feel like there's more to explore about this man but he end up gone just like that? :))

Anything else I might forget, but really I don't hate this drama. I love it so much! They really focus more on the couple relationship. Even the mil is actually good except for the way she treat shiyi. Kinda unexpected to hear her said "she's your sister-in-law" at ep 28 like she's finally accepting her.

It's 3am here finally finish this one! Kinda hard to let go of my ChenShi cp but at least after two lifetimes they got to be together! Even though Zhou's family is quite complicated, but I found most of the characters end up tolerable except for one person :) I expect more crazy family than them actually but it's okay I accept anything. It just some of the plot is left just like that unexplainable and some big plot end up look like nothing. But if you're like me who's up for ChenShi only this is good enough. oao still hits different but going to miss them :(

LOL i notice that and I'm still watching. He's kinda nerd but he still do what his heart told him to. He's slow about love but he's not slow in showing his love. Shiyi is forward one in something like talking sweetly and body contact (lol that sound weird) so I like how she been teaching him all that hahahahah and without Shiyi talking to him first I found it impossible for him to although, he find her attractive.

I read somewhere before and oh Idk if they will show in the drama because I'm still on ep 11. It's also stated in the novel. I hope I'm not wrong I just casually read about this drama ^^

Wait I I'm trying to reply without spoiling myself so if you already stated it I'm sorry. Is ep 15 -18 release already? I check on Iqiyi it's still on ep 14. It is on mgtv? With sub?

If I'm not mistaken when the late emperor died and we have Liu Hui as the sudden emperor, I remember someone once mention that "he would not care, right?" something like that. It's like they (the Empress Dowager Qin and her puppet) don't want zsc to have power no matter what and since he is living far away it's more easier to pick anyone and he also still have all his vows (except for not stepping inside Chang'an). ZSC even said he want to protect the country till his last breath and when he pick the distant cousin the drama stated that ZSC is not interested for the throne. And it's not like they can choose the emperor or else they be label as rebellious :/

3 eps in and I could agree how slow it is. I feel the same for oao so I won't complain for now but just wondering if Xi'an is Chang'an, does it mean Zhenjiang is XiZhou?
