I think recent viewers of this show would find it disappointing because their expectations were raised considering…
It was quite literally the most hyped BL for 2020. That's why it failed so hard at the end ppl had really high expectations from it and it didn't deliver. It got really big as well because of how inoffensive it was and how marketable the leads were. It became massive in china cuz they could tweak it enough to turn into a bromance lol... of course 2020 also had ITSAY and Cherry Magic that's all I have to say about that :)
I liked the first episode! it actually felt great to watch something that was new in bl landscape though not scary there were scenes that gave me that tingling feeling when watching something suspenseful or thrilling and no jump scares which i liked. Can't wait for the next episodes!

Very rarely will you see a true Chinese bl after 2016 when China banned it now its even going further after the 2021 super ban... Tiawan/ Hong Kong have more freedom to do bl especially Taiwan it's not part of China :P
Hope during the covid19 outbreak that they are safe! ... and maybe add more or write more scenes with Mark and Ou Wen that'll be cool add more screen time for the most beloved side couple :D

These regulations affected web dramas which have had fewer restrictions at the time :P so thats why lol

If you want more info check out AvenueX on youtube she does c dramas reviews and is a voice actor. From what I've seen on YouTube and other dramas they are primarily voice actors and some actually follow the actor that they are assigned to on other shows because they fit the character so well.
If they had put this on YouTube its popularity would have skyrocketed. It's a travesty that this show has been skipped over because of a paywall. I like 2gether even if it did putter out at the end and turned into mess but 2gether pales in comparison to this Masterpiece. if they were pieces of meat 2gether is a chicken cutlet and ITSAY would be a Filet Mignon :P
