You get used to it after a few episodes, on my part I really loved it it's totally worth it!
I totally get where you come from I feel the same way as you and in fact i would have dropped the drama if the fl was too childish, bit i don't know how to explain it but i feel that the word childish is not the right word to decribe her... The ml is much more childish than her but you can somehow notice that both of them have a mature side especially on ow they manage certain situations. The only thing I can tell you is try it if you really can't do it just drop it, at least you tried lol

I personally think that she's very mature despite her childlike voice, and in my opinion the ending is very good and satisfying it could be your healing after the last drama you watched...
the ml is the kind of kindergarten boy who loves to tease or deliberately mess up with the girl he has a crush…
You're right sometimes she feels like a mom, but even though he behaves like a child he has never been malicious towards her and he always respected her...
The only thing I can tell you is try it if you really can't do it just drop it, at least you tried lol
