Yes
Thought I saw somewhere that their voices were dubbed by voice actors. Can you send the link saying they used their own voice?

i think it's a bit unreasonable to say that rating a show between 6 and 7 feels "less like critique and more…
I get your point and I agree that everyone has their own rating system. And yes an 8 is objectively good by most standards. I’m not saying people aren’t allowed to rate it 6–7. What I am saying is that, given the material, the themes and what the story is intentionally trying to do, a 6–7 feels less like “this didn’t work for me” and more like a disconnect with the narrative itself

At the end of the day, taste is subjective. But understanding intent matters just as much as preference

Saw about 2 or 3 negative reviews (on the actual review section) and I just had to write this and defend LITC

I genuinely believe that viewers who rated Love in the Clouds below a 9 missed the heart of the story. Yes, the series can be frustrating but that frustration is intentional. The lies aren’t lazy writing or unnecessary drama; they are the backbone of the narrative. Every secret, every half-truth exists for a reason and uncovering those reasons is part of the emotional journey the show asks you to take

Ji Bozai and Ming Yi’s push-and-pull dynamic is not meant to be easy or comfortable. It’s cautious, wounded and deeply human. They circle each other, testing trust, retreating, advancing, because love, especially when shaped by fear and survival, is rarely straightforward. Watching them fall in love through deception, not in spite of it, is precisely the point. This isn’t a fairy tale built on instant honesty; it’s a story about connection forged in uncertainty

Love in the Clouds asks for patience and emotional literacy. If you expect clean communication and immediate payoff, this may not be your kind of drama. But if you’re willing to sit with the discomfort, to read between the lines, and to understand why the characters make the choices they do, the story unfolds beautifully. It rewards viewers who engage rather than judge too quickly.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but ratings in the 6–7 range feel less like critique and more like a refusal to meet the show where it stands. This drama isn’t flawed because it’s complex; it’s compelling because it dares to be. Y’all should consider rewatching the show 🥲

Call me wrong but i really didn't like the male character, i mean ming yi is tooooo good for him, she was selfless…
I’m afraid I’m with Ji Bozai on this one. If a person you love lied to you, what would your reaction be? What Ji Bozai showed is a normal reaction for when you found out you’ve been lied to
On Love in the Clouds Dec 10, 2025
Here to say I just rewatched LITC again. Idk, I can’t recover from the beautiful love story of Ji Bozai and Ming Yi. I tried to find other cures through watching other dramas but none could fix it so had to rewatch LITC.

Binged this drama in 3 days coz it was just soooo good though the irony is that I didn’t want it to end. I could go for months just following Ji Bozai and Ming Yi’s adventures. Their chemistry is through the roof! I wish I can see the actors in a modern drama. Drama gods pls make this happen.

I don’t think I could ever recover from this gem of a drama. Ji Bozai and Ming Yi’s love story will stay with me for a while.

then tell me, if ‘love in the clouds’ doesn’t make the cut for you, what dramas do you recommend? since you seem so passionate about proving it’s not good enough
