It it absolutely the writer's fault, both for the untold story of JP and for the character inconsistency of DS and the actors have done a very good job

I think it's mainly shipping JP with "happiness". I would personally be team JP even if he ended up just with halmoni for life, with or without DM (actually better without unless they show me that she also fell in love with him, which I HIGHLY doubt will happen)

Of course it will end up with DS and DM! Ahah what are you offended about? The majority of people on this forum don’t even want JP with DM. They just want the character development that is long overdue and happiness for the characters that deserve it. Even NJH and Suzy were skeptical about DS’s behaviour in various interviews because even they have enough emotional intelligence to understand that some things are not justifiable.
Finally I understand that you wish to point out that NJH is a younger actor compared to KSH, but I am not sure I agree with the assumption that he is the most talented actor for his age group. Nam Da Reum (18), Lee do Hyun (25), Jang Ki-Yong (28) and many others have shown mind blowing acting skills and despite me thinking that NJH is a really sweet and mature person in the interviews I have seen, his acting has not won me so far. In any case there is no reason to bring in NJH in a platform where he has never been insulted, which only discusses his character in a drama
