oh please, this is no 8.2, but easily more than that. Each episode affronts a societal issue, the relationships are straightforward with no beating around the bush, the cute moments are actually cute and not cringey, the acting is just perfect and the direction lodable. This just can't be a 8.2 with boring ass dramas (personal opinion of course) like OBS and A Business Proposal (where the second couple was great regardless) get those MDL ratings. But then again..I thought Run On was honestly a really well made drama and this one gives me the same vibe and that is not very highly rated on MDL either.
Leaving the rant aside, I actually cried when the foster parents came to the police station. Like..a lot
Since the first episode, I can't get over how well-trained her body is. Like the girl is full of muscles my goodness! She sure is fit daymn
Leaving that aside, her acting is too good. I can't believe how adorable and how quirky this role is after her serious and admirable acting of Red Sleeve Cuffs
I started with 0 expectations because rom-coms nowadays do nothing to me and unlike some other commenters here who compared it with Our Beloved Summer, I thought OBS was incredibly boring. I was looking to just watch something under 20 min by skipping all the unnecessary bits but I ended up IN LOVE with the starting episode and could not skip a thing. I found some scenes to be really emotional and the acting, HER ACTING fantastic. She always acts her roles so well. I completely understand how young people nowadays can completely lose faith in the system or might wish to take anticonventional paths because I am just one of them. Many who come from the generation of people who followed the conventional life map drawn by those who define what being successful means in society might not relate but I do. I was particularly impressed with the direction and the camera focus. The scenes were shot beautifully.
I honestly found the storyline to be particularly refreshing. There is a lot of mystery to unfold around his decisions and I found that to be truly intriguing. The first case was also very well written and even though I can't believe it coming from a drama like this, I actually unexpectedly teared up a bit
y'all asking people to not watch this masterpiece of a drama just because you don't like one single episode? make…
I agree. The last episodes weren't even terrible but with many incosistencies that don't match the tone of the drama. We can still hope it goes back to the masterpiece it was
I agree with other people here that characters of this drama are suddenly acting out of character, it's breaking…
I agree. I see where SY and KW are coming from but there really should have been more action from KW's side to justify her attraction. The breakup, ugh, I am not even going to mention how out of character is was from both side. He is normally more observant and forward while she is normally more caring towards him and everyone else really. It's not like she is foreign to empathy.
I was not expecting breakup cliche episodes here, just because of the nature of this show. Everything seemed relatively…
Exactly, she clearly knows what empathy is, as she looked for the noodles, understood where the progressive/radical attorney last episode was coming from, understood SW's character and also the reason attorney Kwon was called tactician, understood the loneliness the ex-wife felt, thought of attorney Jung as cool so it was heartbreaking seeing how she left JH without any explanation as if she was unaware of his pain only even though he is that expressive.
For me, since they didn’t “officially dated” then the so called break up isn’t so much a break up but…
I agree with the fact that JH deserved explaination. That was a very awkward situation given that WYW is normally very straightward and that's how their love line started so it was inconsistent writing. They also fought about not being official because she didn't know that it means but it real life, that is pretty much called being official and adults don't always give each other a date saying "ok so today's date is the date we are official"
