Slow, long, boring and uninteresting. The whole "illness" plot element was done so damn poorly, it's comically…
You nailed it!!! That trope of "hiding my serious/terminal illness" throws me, do people really do that in some cultures? I mean, I get the idea of the "noble gesture", but it's unrealistic and actually selfish. Where I live (Texas) the person you love most would be the first one you'd go straight to.
I love this drama, but for heaven's sake, why, why, why doesn't she change that ridiculous hairstyle? It looks horrible!! A waste of potential there. Such a lovely person with a beautiful face, but her hair style is pathetically laughable. Sorry to rant, but it drives me crazy.
TRASH SHOW. Says everything about contemporary society, when the focus of the show is the murder of a child, all because the would-be parents had no morals or self-control.
YW. I loved that one. Chinese and Korean Historical/Costume-Period dramas are the only thing I watch if I turn on a TV. Through Roku or phone casting I find a lot of good stuff. If you haven't seen it yet, "Sound of the Desert" is a killer one.
Joe Chen and Chen Xiao not only have 0 romantic chemistry, it's at about -3. With their acting, they come off more like business partners than a married couple deeply in love.
