Did and still doing it. Did you see when Kurosawa and Adachi hugged at first there was gap betwee their heads but after Adachi also hugged back Kurosawa he nuzzeled his head against and leave no space between them . I am literally nitpicking everything at this point. And poor kurosawa's bag everytime it gets disregarded by kurosawa where else Adachi's bag is either helping them or cockblocking them.

OK, there is one thing that's bothering me. They've pretty much dropped Adachi's powers - he didn't even hear…
Are we watching the same show? From episodes, 1 to 6 Adachi has constantly used his power intentionally or accidentally. It's only in episode 7 we don't see him using his power and the reasons are clear. Firstly, the majority of the time in episode 7 we saw things from Kurosawa's perspective, his inner insecurities, and how he fell for Adachi. Secondly, the decision to not use Adachi's power during the hug scene (btw that's the only contact in episode 7 that Adachi had ) is a good decision why you may ask, well if you have been long in fandom you will know that some people are "complaining" that Kurosawa's thoughts are manipulating or grooming Adachi's feeling for Kurosawa. Use the power people complain, don't use the power people complain. Everyone's wish can't be fulfilled you know.
And honestly, using Adachi's power during the hug wasn't necessary because, from my perspective, nothing was going through Kurosawa's head rather all his feelings for Adachi, his relief of finally getting the guy he has been pinning for 7 years, and his nervousness and excitement, was overflowing from his heart to Adachi's. Even Adachi himself said " His heart is beating so fast! Kurosawa's feelings are beyond words. They are flowing into me." These three sentences are enough to let us know every single moment in that scene their feeling was coming from the depth of their hearts. Not showing us Adachi using his power only in one episode is not a big deal. There are still 5 episodes left and 1 special episode and maybe even a sequel.
And about the lack of physical element, I get your point but you have to understand that Adachi maybe 30 years old adult but he is still a virgin so getting physical is terrifying to him (Adachi already panics seeing Kurosawa's pure thoughts so I can imagine how much overwhelm he will feel if he sees Kurosawa's steamy thoughts) and Kurosawa knows that very well. From the very beginning, this series has established that Kurosawa will not do anything that will make Adachi uncomfortable or scare him or hurt him. In the manga version, Kurosawa had more steamy thoughts but to me manga adaptation and live-action adaptation are different. Because Kurosawa knows how pure Adachi is his thoughts for Adachi are pure and mundane. But now that they are officially together let's see if there is a change in Kurosawa's thoughts. I think they will kick it up a notch but still keep it friendly.
You have to remember Japan is not Thailand or Taiwan. Japan's target is locals, not us overseas's fans. When they made this drama they didn't think about you or me or any overseas fans they thought how can they respectfully and friendly they can reach out to the local audience. The directors know how he can gain large attention from locals where the majority of people are very conservative just like Thai or Taiwan know adding intense bed scene will attract more fans. I think you are from the west( sorry if I am wrong) so you probably don't have an idea about reality in Asia. Also, the bed scene even between the straight couple has censorship so of course, there will be even larger censorship when it comes to LGBTQ relationship. I love the Japanese technique of spreading LGBTQ content. They are showing more emotional contentment rather than physical. You can coax a person to change their mind, to get them thinking, by showing emotional aspects of love between two same-sex people. One step at a time my friend.
No offense to others I get that feeling that currently, Thailand is making bl for money where else Japan gives me the feeling that they are making bl to help people understand that there are people who fall in love with same gender and their love is no different than the love between straight couples btw this is my personal opinion.

I am also new to BL fandom (will be 2 years more or less) but I have joined various groups and discords to get more info for future BL dramas and I have seen so much petty things in this fandom. I don't know how it used to be back than but now it's very toxic and competitive. I can already imagine if Korea and Japan produces BL in same quantity the fight between which country produces best BL will ensure.
