I know nothing about Korean language so please bear with me.
I am wondering if they are talking Busan dialect the whole time? or is Hae Jun speaking with a different dialect, because his „melody“ when talking sounds a bit different. or is if just his way of taking? :)
I rewatched while watching Korean adaption. Korean version now seems so dull compared to this one. The key happenings did not hurt as much and left me unimpressed. also Korean version is not as funny as this one. This drama is just a masterpiece.
clearly you didn't understand go ahead, it was more pure as Zi Qiu was always felt indebted with Li fam and he…
no I totally got it. but it was not as clear and transparent as it was here. many viewers criticized this one part very much back then. obviously it was explained a couple episodes after, but here it was so so clear right from the start when he said it.
the confusion HJ had, thinking he’d have to marry JW, when all he wanted was to be part of the family legally was done much better in this drama than original. here it was clear to the audience what his real intention was and not confused as love triangle and drag too long. it was so cringe in the original, here it was actually fun to watch.
Go Ahead's actress was way better. All these South Korean actresses only get hired based on looks. Is there a…
agree. now I am rewatching again and seeing vast difference in acting. she is living her character and it doesn’t feel like acting at all. so natural. Korean actress is really pretty but lacks edge
Yeah, the og have much moments to show the siblings relationship, to everyday activities. Not just when they face…
yes exactly these moments. The ice cream scene was stuck in my head and I thought that was so typical between siblings. not asking or saying thanks, no shame. I am missing this dynamic in Korean version.
Chinese version is by far my most cherished drama of all times. This version is not bad, I actually enjoy watching a new take on this story, as it’s just a great plot in general. in the Chinese version I liked that the FL was very boyish and the siblings understood each other without saying - anybody hanging out with them would be third wheel. I didn’t get the feeling in this version, even though they also had their moments. probably because Chinese version had more time to dwell on small details.
in both versions the dad is astonishing. in my opinion he is one of the main leads. both actors are doing incredible and the casting is perfect.
I cannot be the only one who finds Kang Hae Jun and Park dal cute together 😭?? soooo, I feel like the confession…
if you find out what happened to him while he was away, all that kept him from continuing was the thought of returning to her and keeping her forever. he waited 10 years to confess. it’s understandable that he wanted to get it out there asap. especially after realizing there might be someone else who’s faster.
