Its actually because its 2 different companies that produced LBC and TharnType. So think of them as parallel universes. Same story line, but still separate. The only reason Mean and Saint could appear in TharnType is actually because they are in a different company then the other actors. If not, then they would not be able to have the appearance. I also think the reason they got a different actor for Tar, even though Earth is not under the same management, is because Title is under the same management as Perth, Plan, and Gun. So it would have been awkward if they replaced Tum, but kept the same Tar.
