yeah, the writer knows Chinese folklore better than me, sure. But knowing folklore doesn’t mean the plot logic takes a holiday. Just because “child prodigy” is a myth doesn’t mean we have to swallow everything without thinking.so does that means every plot hole magically disappears and we’re all just supposed to nod like mindless fans. it's not about misunderstanding “prodigy” —it’s about calling out lazy writing. Maybe the kid’s a genius, maybe the writer just wanted a cheap twist or Just Spend some episodes on misunderstanding

The so called "Chinese professionals" have many failed cdramas And bad script writting, google that. Just because They are professionals doesn't mean they can't be lazy or always correct. The comments above yours make more sense than the child prodigy thing.
