yeah, the writer knows Chinese folklore better than me, sure. But knowing folklore doesn’t mean the plot logic takes a holiday. Just because “child prodigy” is a myth doesn’t mean we have to swallow everything without thinking.so does that means every plot hole magically disappears and we’re all just supposed to nod like mindless fans. it's not about misunderstanding “prodigy” —it’s about calling out lazy writing.
